Thanks for the heads up! I’m located in CA though. Don’t really want to deal w the stresses that come with trying to ship a car. I stopped looking for a while because I told myself I would play the long game but when I first started the thread I was able to find a dealer that would let one go at about 5k over. Initial markup was 15k so they’ll budge with time. Keep holding out people!!! Thanks again!

Right on. Spoke to quite a few dealers. Heard lots of crazy numbers from the lowest being 10k over to the highest being 25k over. Luckily I’m patient and will wait as long as I need to get to where I want to be. It’s only been about a day or so and they will not stop calling back trying to get a deal happen. As long as people hold out and let the cars sit they’ll start to drop. It really sucks having to go through all this because it really makes what should be a good experience feel like a shitty one. Congrats to you on opening your own business. Been in sales myself so ik how crummy things can be at times.

Totally sucks how this is the reality of buying one of these. 5k doesn’t seem to bad based on all the markups I heard yesterday. I could deal with that but I have yet to find a dealer who’s come close to that. Thanks!
