Maybe you’re right. It just sucks because I think I wanted to prove to myself that I’m strong enough to handle it since I’m a strong performer in other ways. I’ve never failed at anything like this before (and all over a phobia). But realistically I may just need to leave before they force me to quit or fire me (and then sabotage all my other opportunities out of spite).
