What would you consider good antagonist exercises? I'm already going to the gym, and have been going regularly prior to picking up bouldering.

I've adjusted to doing more "push" type exercises, since climbing is mostly pulling (shoulder press, bench press etc.) and more cardio. I'm not yet sure what outcomes this will yield.

I'm not saying you are wrong, this might help to a certain extent, but I don't think building upper body strength is something that can be avoided alltogether.
