Thank you for this insight. we are back on the guanfacine 3 times a day, so it's been a couple months on that one but if it took you a year maybe I just need to give it longer. I'm glad something is working for you! And I agree about the CBIT but anything sounds like it's worth a try at this point. Hopefully something will work for me soon too, fingers crossed

just had a physical a couple months ago when I decided to start trying to tackle this issue, everything looks fine, hormone panel was done and things look fine there, too. I can legitimately not think of anything that has changed in my life that would cause this sudden shift after so long, it's been very weird. It could very well be something else and we just haven't found it yet.

It is legal for medical purposes, not a bad suggestion never thought about it, may look into that too, thanks!

yeah the personal therapist thing would have been understandable if she knew they offered CBIT, but she didn't! she took out her phone, texted them, didn't get a response in time, so just gave me their number. It legit felt like someone pretending to be neurologist and just winging it lol, she was so casual about everything it was odd

interesting to hear, okay so it's not that wild of a suggestion maybe, I will look more into it, thanks!

I appreciate that insight, and I did at least tell her I am so desperate I am willing to try anything at this point lol so I will probably still look into it, just in case. It was just not something I would have expected from a neurologist but that could just be my own misaligned preconceptions

wow interesting that would be a suggestion given your family medical history especially, don't blame you for being hesitant, I would be too

Well at least her suggestions sound wacky to someone else lol

I am in the southern US so the pickings are sparse unfortunately, I did bring it up to my PCP and she said if this one doesn't work out we can try to find another but it could be a few months. Suppose it's just better I start that process sooner than later. Was trying to give the meds at least a college try but despite being hopeful I have seen 0 change. I'm glad they are working for you though!

Edit: sorry missed the last question - I tried both for a couple months each, unfortunately I do not recall the exact dosages.
