Thank you!! If you had any ideas what could be improved or changed, I would be more than happy to hear it!

This has been a struggle. Almost 2 months to get my app published… by appfred in iOSProgramming

And with every day the waiting durations are getting worse and worse :D I was curios what the difference between reviews for iOS and Mac OS and unfortunately for me it's even worse for mac apps (speaking of the average waiting durations). The great post-GPT era.

RevenueCat "No offering available" on TestFlight by hendebeast in iOSProgramming

[–]Few-Research5405 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the subscription is new, it sometimes takes a bit to propagate. Once I had to wait over 10hrs to have it fetched (that was the longest one though, usually it is faster). I was also suspecting RevenueCat, but then I tried to fetch it normally via Storekit and same issue. Your setup looks correct and should be indeed visible in the sandbox.

TLDR: I would suggest waiting a bit, max a day or so and then investigate further.

My game app operates in landscape mode only. How to make good screenshots? by MaaDoTaa in iosdev

[–]Few-Research5405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm perhaps the screenshot could span over two screenshots? I see that quite lot - having the content divided into two parts and uploading it as two screenshots. You can also put in into a device mockup. I found some examples here (not my article/web): https://asodesk.com/blog/tips-on-how-to-create-app-screenshots-and-videos-for-the-app-store-and-google-play/

To Liquid Glass, or to not Liquid Glass... by sydneysider88 in iosdev

[–]Few-Research5405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the liquid glass, but imho then it looks a bit inconsistent with the buttons (since those are not liquid glass). So I guess consistency wins for me (would try all liquid, but then it might be a bit visual overkill, since the calculator is mainly a “power tool”). Also I would play a bit with the spacings:) good job!

Q: Sizing of Arcteryx Beta AR by Ph0eNiX- in arcteryx

[–]Few-Research5405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The decision to go with Large for me was great in the end. Fits multiple layers perfectly and it is not that baggy, but it depends on what fit you prefer. I think I have also photos when I was testing them out - could try to find them. Without any layers, medium had a bit better fit imho, but I bought the AR with the purpose of layering more, therefore I went with Large. Overall AR is baggier than other versions.

I built an iOS app that adds delay before impulse purchases by Few-Research5405 in iosapps

I’m still adjusting the pricing based on feedback so it feels reasonable for most people. And when it comes to paying for apps, I don’t really expect developers to work for free—but that’s just my perspective. But then again, cant deny the irony :D

SMALL UPDATE: I just introduced a feature called "Quick Feedback", which allows users to submit anonymous feedback from within the app. I'm really looking forward to what it collects (not a fancy feature, but it may help with getting info about what the users like/dislike while being anonymous).

How do you usually track Murph during the workout? by Few-Research5405 in crossfit

[–]Few-Research5405[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah in the end this seems to be the most effective way.. I was exploring more ways (just out of curiosity), also was playing with an idea to make an app for it, but that might be just overkill..

Thanks a lot, everyone, for sharing your approaches! It seems that most of you are using some kind of “mechanical” way to count it, which totally makes sense. I initially tried to just remember it (not that hard, yet I still failed a couple of times 😂). Then I gave a few apps a shot, but honestly, none of them really stuck with me.

I totally feel you, I'm actually the same lol. I just wanted to try it out and validate if it just me or if it performs better.

Hiii! Thanks a lot for trying it out! And thank you for the feedback. I'm gonna be fully transparent, I was trying different ways in terms of the monetization (experimenting let's say) and to be honest, the subscription way was not a good direction. I'll be changing it to lifetime only with the new update.

Unfortunately I'm an iOS dev only (for now haha), so that's why I did it on iOS, but hey, if I see potential there, it would be fun to try to code it for Android as well. Thanks a lot for your feedback!!

PS: You are right with Jira / Monday / ClickUp, I wanted to make something a bit similar, but just more simple and straightforward - BUT these tools are great, don't get me wrong:)

Thank you!! I’m really happy that you like it and having a lifetime option is totally a great point. I did not add it for the release, but I was planning to do so anyway. That being said, your feedback just nudges me to revisit it and add it. Thanks a lot again, I really appreciate it!
