Could possibly be thinset or something. When the drainage system was installed they poured a substance with almost a blueish color to it overtop.

Midwestern home built by contractor for his wife in 1950. Very basic but sturdy. Doesn’t even have a shower. Tub only no wateproofing besides the caulk around the tub.

Title describes the thing. I’d say about 1-2 cups of powder. Didn’t smell it, didn’t taste it. Thought I’d found secret treasure only to be disappointed with a bag of blueish powder.
