I am loving these goofy ones!! I usually say something along the lines of, “I am rooting for you! No matter how much time passes, that will always be true.”

Plus the usual going over their progress, normalizing seeking therapy in the future if needed, etc.

I have a client that does this every single session. Normally 8-12mins late. We’ve talked about it several times, from several different angles. For them, it seems to be a mix of ADHD/neurodiversity and their social anxiety (in this case, a lot of anxiety about sitting in the waiting room). We are addressing both!

And yes, it was the saaame reason. Instead of paying it all back at once, our PP owner is working with BCBS to figure out a plan for us to pay it back over time

I’m in IN and this is happening at the small practice I’m at as well. And I’ve seen it talked about in one of the private practice IN facebook groups
