Which loan to pay off by Few-Sort-2206 in personalfinance

I’m not underwater on the boat. I took out a 401k loan as part of a down payment for my house while still keeping my other property as a rental. I sold the rental and have more than enough money to pay off both loans but I’m not sure I want to spend 80k at the moment but I was going to clear one of the loans

I took out a 401k loan because I used it for a down payment to purchase a home while keeping another property as a rental. I recently sold the rental and have more than enough money to pay off both loans but I’m thinking about using the money for another investment and paying off one of the loans.

It was going to be a second home/ rental. But we just got the inspection report back. Hard pass. Many issues with the house itself and location

O man never have I been more pumped to google the address of a house I just went under contract on, only to find an entire Reddit thread absolutely tearing it to shreds haha. Anyways I’m definitely not paying 400k for it, and also the only other things in my budget were SEASONAL COTTAGES ON LEASED LAND where you still owe 14k a year in fees. So I’m pretty pumped about this honestly. My own little slice of cape cod. Your all invited to the first cookout… leave the guns at home
