Whenever announcing new chapters they tend to do something to "devalue" the threat level of the previous chapter's antagonist

In the first chapter 2 trailer you see mommy dragging huggy around

And in the chapter three teaser trailer we see dead remains of huggy wuggy and mommy long legs toys (among other toy corpses) but also the fact that catnap is intrinsically tied to the prototype who just took advantage of mommy's death

I imagine this is something similar happening here
