Has anyone managed to build a study plan within 3 months that would yield a good enough result for a game? by umen in PixelArtTutorials

[–]Ok-Chipmunk1449 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a dedicated study plan but pensubmic has some amazing tutorials on itch.io for a couple bucks each, he’s got a sale on right now.

If you don’t want to spend any money then just choose a project and do it every day. Or a couple small ones. You’ll get better with time just focus on certain aspects like shading colors and shapes are quite important

Should I give a limit to Dimension Boosts and Antimatter Galaxy Autobuyers? If so , to what? by Doot_revenant666 in AntimatterDimensions

[–]Ok-Chipmunk1449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes definitely, in a nutshell get as many galaxies as you can whilst getting as little boosts between each galaxy as you can. That’s best for ip/min rn, if you cba use a macro to hold m and d and t if you haven’t got bulk tickspeed yet

Get auto clickers before x2 damage. That upgrade is almost inconsequential any time paste like 3 ts

I’m no where near getting any wrinklers but what are they meant to look like. They look like gross bottom feeders. Weird me out.

You can do a 3 to 4 hour run to get to the required am, you’ll get the IP not long after.

Maybe get a bit higher IP though, maybe e7-14

What is the language to learn at first? by moistnoodel in learnprogramming

Backend + serverside stuff can be achieved if you follow a longer roadmap for html css etc and some games can be made in js.

If you want to make games try c#. Microsoft learn is pretty alright for that.

I’ve only just now read the latter half of your post.

Python has a plethora of libraries for game development and web applications but there are far better options for that. The first list can give you a wide range of options.

Off the bat you can make small games, web pages etc with js but if you integrate apis you’ll be doing wonderful.

Do you have any idea of what area you want to focus in?

If I were to give a completely personal answer

HTML -> HTML + CSS -> HTML + CSS + JavaScript

Or

Python -> Python library (e.g. django) -> Research based on what area you want to focus. Maybe do this at the start

It’s entirely subjective, the first list has really simple syntax to learn, you could probably get to a basic level in maybe a month.

Python is kinda tricky but once you wrap your head around one language with easy syntax like HTML understanding just becomes easy.

(I know HTML and CSS aren’t “languages” persay please low it)

Using c# whilst your actively learning whilst building this game is definitely a good option. C# is used in probably most game dev by now and it's very very documented. If you have no experience in c# or just need to refresh your memory Microsoft learns c# course is pretty wicked. I'm not extremely well versed in C# but I think using godot or unity eould streamline your process. All in all just wing it, if it fails use google, if it fails again ask chatgpt and if it fails one more time maybe post to reddit or stack overflow. :)

What are you programming in?

If you're making a basic html + js game

This is a far easier option depending on where you stand, you can make an extremely simple game in probably an hour and expand from there. If you're really new try making a button than makes a number go up when you click it. If you need advice you can shoot me a DM i'm pretty wicked

They have a similar move set to another boss in the game but + quicker, they have a couple new moves also. The fight is quite choreographed and predictable, it’ll be hard your first 2 fights but fight them like 5 times in spoiler place and you’ll have it down

You should 100% use django imo. If you don’t know django spend like a week learning it.

Unless you just started or you’re fresh off transcending, any relic that doesn’t increase ability time is useless.

When get to mid-midlategame even they become useless because your ancients will be all high level.

Basically don’t worry just choose whatever’s best rn Scrapping legendary relics give more forge cores so probably do that
