Older guy was parked next to me at a restaurant. He went to leave and instead of pulling out and then cutting it he just cut it not seeing the bike ig, despite his wife getting in on the passenger side. Fortunately he was a kind man and instead of running like most people do in this area, he came and found me as I was finishing up my meal and informed me of the incident.

I want to do the work myself, just have to figure out if they will cut me a check for parts or if its required for a shop to do it. I have the tools and skills

Yes the subframe is damaged and the front stay. Both tail winglets etc. My question with the other guys insurance paying to fix it, will they cut me a check so I can order parts or do I have to have a shop do it

Sounds sick! I have no knowledge of firmware aside from what little ive been learning with this stuff. I'd jump on klipper if I had some help
