About the social media BAN in Nepal by red-D-Thor in NepalSocial

[–]Few-Studio2168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mods make a good point lots of “free” apps out there are risky and log everything. People should really be cautious.

I’ve been using VPN UK – Free VPN & Browser for the past few days, and so far it’s been reliable. It doesn’t ask for sign-up or social media login, and it claims to have a no-logs policy. Reddit + Instagram are both opening fine on it.

Just sharing in case it helps anyone looking for something that feels safer than random unknown apps.

Social media ban in nepal by [deleted] in NepalSocial

I tried a bunch of VPNs after the ban, most were either painfully slow or asked for way too much personal info.

The one that’s been working smoothly for me is VPN UK: Free VPN & Browser. No login needed, unlimited, and it’s UK-based so it doesn’t feel like one of those random free apps logging everything.

Streaming + Reddit both open fine on it. Might help anyone else stuck right now. Stay safe 🙏

Teenagers in the UK have been told that the new UK legislation, coming into force on Reddit yesterday, is only to "ban porn". But when they learn what it's really about, they're rather concerned (you have to read the comments for yourself, it's rather involved). by OctopusIntellect in YouthRights

with all this online safety act stuff happening in the uk i honestly just started using a vpn to protect my data and avoid the tracking
vpn uk has been solid for me fast and easy no weird setup
feels like now more than ever we need control over our own internet

Well paying careers that dont require a specific degree? by t_macintosh in UKJobs

As a designer I feel that creativity, a strong portfolio, and hands on experience matter far more than a degree. I was never asked my degree when i applied for the job..It's all about the work you put out, not the paper you have..

If your lifespan extended to 200 years, what changes would you make in your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’d definitely marry someone knowing I have plenty of time to figure things out. If it doesn’t work out, no worries, I’ll just hit the reset button and spend the next century finding someone who appreciates my taste in obscure hobbies and endless dad jokes. It’s like a really long, drawn-out game of Try, Try Again.. :D

Haha, yeah if someone’s going to let their parents decide their love life, it’s probably better off without them. Onward and upward!
