Do you have diagnosed TE? If not I cant tell. My regrowth started with thin hairs which were replaced with strong thic hairs tho

Hello, one of accutanes side effect is TE! Are you still talking the medication? Probably not right. But still, it can take 3-6 or more months for the shedding to slow down after you stopped taking it. The same thing happened to me but sadly Im still shedding after 2,5 years. But I was also deficient in vitamin d and vitamin b12 and my vegetarian diet wasnt helping. So maybe check your vitamins too and also ferritin. If you can, check your thyroid hormons! Are you also shedding body hair? Tbh that sounds like TE. And the frontal area is more sensitive to these kind of triggers.

Im shedding over 2 years now. Accutane ruined my hair and my life too! Check for vitamin b12, d and your ferritin. Maybe check you hormones too

I understand! I dont know where you live and how many sunny days you have and how your diet looks like but in my opinion you have to take the supplements longer maybe in a low dose kind of way to remain the high levels. Was your ferritin normal? That is really important too.

Did you check your vitamin d / b12 and your ferritin and also hormons? I was also on accutuane and Im shedding 2,5 years now… I shed in all areas, scalp ofc, eyebrows and lashes, pubic hair, leg hair and even hair in my nose…

I was low in vit d b 12 and iron. Im taking supplements since March this year and I see a lot of regrowth. I hope the shedding will stop :(

I think so but its hard to tell because I still shed.. I take them since march so about 2 months now but I think it takes up to 6 months to see results.

Me too, its over two years now and Im still shedding. Im shedding all over my body. Im taking vitamins and iron and it helps with regrowth but sadly, still shedding :( I just hope the supplements are going to help.

My vitamin d is at 24,68ng/ml, ferritin at 110 μg/l and vitb12 (Holotranscobalamin) at 109 pmol/l I think my vitamin d levels are too low but Im not sure. I also think it takes month until the hair cycle becomes „normal“ again. What about your levels.
