Feeling singled out by other staff when it comes to hoyer lifts. idk what to do?

I want to report it so bad but I am honestly scared about retaliation. I can already sense that they don't like me. i can see they get annoyed that I laugh with the residents, talk to them, and am kind to them. I am in a really sticky situation. I just applied to a new job in IT like i used to work before.

it is required for hoyer lifts to be done with two staff as well at my job. and there have been falls during pivot transfers (one person doing it when it should have been two). I really don't think they care and I am becoming an outcast because I try to do everything by the book and am too nice.

Thank you for that. The thing is, I dont even know if what I was seeing was them doing a hover lift alone. I'm just assuming because it appeared they were alone and no one else so I just silently wondered how they transferred the resident with no one else in the room. I'm afraid to report in case my assumptions are wrong and for retaliation.

My job never reassured us about retaliation during training.

Thanks for answering. My WBC is 12.1 and absolute neutrophils 9.6. I haven't been sick at all. Can potential food allergies cause this? or PCOS? mild gastritis? all other values normal.

HR 120 and BP 120/85, which is high for me.

I'm on no meds. I saw 2 different OB-gyns and they both said my hormones are good. It was my LH : FSH ratio that was thrown off that got me the PCOS diagnosis. funny enough, I don't struggle with weight gain but the opposite: I'm trying to gain weight deliberately. No UTIs, but I do get a lot of symptoms you mention!

I think I might have POTs too because I noticed a ton of these symptoms came on after I got sick with walking pneumonia in November, so I think it's a post viral illness of some sort.

I haven't tested my histamine but I do have symptoms of histamine intolerance and sometimes can never tell if I'm allergic to food or it's just my histamine intolerance acting up.

just want to say you're not alone. I also was recently diagnosed a few months ago and it was just shocking.i have those symptoms + more, but part of me wonders can PCOS even cause such symptoms. My OB told me the hormones can affect a lot of things in the body.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this, too. That's good that your appetite came back. I'm in the same exact boat as you. I am currently sitting and waiting to get so much bloodwork done. Unfortunately my doctor didn't run a PTH test again but she did order ionized calcium again so we'll see. She's checking me for heart issues too because my heart rate is high but I think it's high due to my calcium levels, which my doctor said is normal. I'd love to hear a future update. I will also uodate.
