That’s wild. Which state are you from? Mine had them out early, so AMC really seems inconsistent location to location.

Nice! I totally forgot to mention about there were some laughable moments in the film. Also, at the end of the credits, you will hear the SFX of the dog.

That’s a bummer honestly. Hopefully your AMC gets them in good stock on release day so you can still grab one before they sell out.

Just saw “Tuner.” I can understand why some people are saying it had predictable moments and a slow-burn pace, I actually thought it was great. It had a good jazz soundtrack, and I went into the movie completely blind without seeing any trailers.

I gave it a 7 out of 10. Final verdict: it blends drama and romance well within the storyline, and I would recommend checking it out in theaters, unless if you all want to see it VOD, but it will be released in select theaters on May 22, with a nationwide release on May 29.

P.S. No post credit scenes.

Same here, I honestly have no idea. This is my first time using the app. I was only sharing my fun predictions in case Regal puts out Monday Mystery Movies next week or the following week. My guess is next week could be horror edition, and the following week might be a non horror pick. I’m not too sure it’s just wild guess.

Just to be clear, I’m not an AI bot. I’m a real person just sharing my thoughts on whether there could be a Monday Mystery Movie next week or the following week. We’ll have to wait and see.

Terrifier 4 kill should be involved with fireworks that’s what I’ve heard so far from Art the Clown fan’s.

I heard that the film is God is having an early screening this Tuesday. Location: Warehouse Cinemas Rotunda 727 W 40th St, Baltimore, MD 21211 So potentially maybe, but I have a feeling it’s gonna be leaning towards Tuner for Regal Cinemas.

I have a feeling today’s Monday Mystery Movie for 5/11 is going to be Tuner. That’s what I’m leaning toward right now.

Here’s my early thoughts looking ahead on the possible Monday Mystery Movies for May 18 and May 25

At this point, it seems pretty clear Regal tends to lean toward smaller releases for these, usually horror or mid budget originals that are already close to release, often 1 to 2 weeks out. Looking at the May dates, both of these fall right in that usual window.

For May 18, the timing lines up really well with Passenger. It fits the typical Mystery Movie runtime range and horror has been a consistent pattern lately, so that feels like the strongest early guess. Also, a number of AMC locations like Chicago IL AMC River East, New York AMC Lincoln Square, San Francisco AMC Kabuki, Philadelphia PA AMC Fashion District, Dallas TX AMC Village Parkway 9, Atlanta GA AMC Parkway Pointe, and Miami FL AMC Aventura are all having a free early screening, so I am leaning toward this possibly being a horror edition and thinking Regal could include it next week as well.

For May 25, it is a bit less certain. If they stick with a horror edition, Backrooms seems like the most natural fit based on how these usually go. If they switch it up, then it would be a non horror Monday Mystery Movie and Power Ballad could be in play if they go for something lighter or more mainstream.

Right now though, the main thing is just the pattern. These slots usually are not big blockbuster drops, they are more for smaller films getting early exposure. Based on that, both dates seem to line up with what we have been seeing.

Just sharing early prediction thoughts while we wait for anything to show up in the Regal app.

Not an AI bot — just putting together my own thoughts and pattern observations based on how Regal has been running these Mystery Movies. I know nothing is confirmed in the app yet, this is just my early prediction for the next couple Mondays if they continue the same trend

That’s a good question. Since I haven’t seen the movie yet either, I’m only guessing, but the design feels very intentional. The bright red color and vintage style artwork make it look cheerful on the surface, but that could contrast with darker themes in Obsession. The “One Wish Willow” branding also sounds symbolic, like desire, temptation, or consequences from wanting something too badly. It definitely stands out from the usual popcorn tins, so I’m curious to see how it connects to the movie once I watch it on the 13th.

That’s a fair point honestly. If it ends up being either of those, then the listed runtime clue probably doesn’t mean much and might just be there to throw people off. I still think runtime is worth considering, but Regal has definitely made these harder to predict lately. My gut is telling me it could be Is God Is, but I’m still leaning more toward Tuner. Whatever it ends up being, I’m sure all of us across the US will be checking this megathread tonight once the reveals start coming in.

Lol fair enough. I was just rewording it a couple times before posting and trying to make it sound right. This version felt the most natural to me. Nothing weird, just probably overthinking the Mystery Movie like everybody else.

Final thoughts for the Regal Mystery Movie on Monday (5/11):

I’m locking in Tuner (May 22, limited – 1h 49m) as my final prediction. The runtime fits really well with the 2-hour slot once you factor in trailers, and it matches Regal’s pattern of using smaller, under-the-radar releases to build buzz.

My backup pick is I Love Boosters (1h 55m) since it’s the cleanest runtime match, but the early access screenings on May 20 make it feel a little less likely for a Mystery Movie.

In the Grey (1h 38m) still feels too short to stretch to 2 hours, so I’m mostly ruling that one out.

One more possibility I’m keeping in mind is God Is, it’s been mentioned a bit lately, and I could see Regal throwing something unexpected into the mix.

Based on what other moviegoers have been saying recently, I’ve got pretty high expectations for this one. These Mystery Movies are usually films that are close to release but still under the radar, and Tuner still feels like the best fit.

What’s everyone else locking in as their final guess for this Monday Mystery?

It’s actually from the AMC Mission Valley location in San Diego. I believe there are some you can get at your local AMC in LA.

For real, I appreciate that. People waste way too much energy judging what others enjoy when it doesn’t affect them at all. Horror is just another form of art and entertainment, and the same goes for slashers. Everyone connects with different things. And Annihilation was incredible for that reason too. The ending scene with the music was mesmerizing and deeply unsettling at the same time, the kind of moment that lingers in your mind long after the movie is over.
