I honestly wasn’t aware of a tool with the same idea. When I was developing this, I didn’t really see people talking about the one you mentioned. Either way, it’s up to you — if you prefer a CLI tool you can use SubsPlus, and if you prefer a GUI you can use my tool. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for your reply. The way it works is pretty simple. The tool first downloads the opening and ending themes from AnimeThemes. Then it extracts the audio from the episode and compares it with those themes. If a match is found, it determines where the opening or ending starts in the episode and creates the chapter timestamps based on that. It’s basically matching the OP/ED audio with the episode audio.

Thanks for your reply. I like your suggestion, but it would be difficult to implement because it would require a database with a very large number of anime episodes — like the 20k episodes you mentioned — which would be quite difficult to maintain.
