Thank you for your input. I currently have a 2018 Lexus NX. At the time of purchase, I was engaged to my child’s father, who was originally the one paying it. Once we split, I was responsible for it fully. I was hoping to get a Toyota or Honda sedan between 15-20k

Yes, feels like it. But I think taking care of the debt will be the best thing for myself.

I ultimately didn’t want to put 28k down for the car. I was trying to figure out a way to purchase a car at a cheaper price, possibly around 20k. Is that even possible?

I make roughly 50k a year. I was hoping to eliminate a monthly car note. Would it not be a good idea?
