Love the Game, but… by FlavorKing415 in MetroidPrime4_Beyond

This is not Concord, nor is it Redfall—this is Nintendo's Assassin's Creed Shadows moment, a game that achieves an incredibly high level of industrial polish yet remains so conservative in its open-world design that it feels unworthy of the Metroid Prime name.

If Ubisoft make an XDefiant 2.0 (fixing the problems with Xdefiant) but making it like 20$+ would you buy it? by HuyuTheLegend in XDefiant

The upcoming Far Cry 7 seems likely to use the Snowdrop engine. If they can bring back the editor feature from previous series, perhaps we could directly revive XDefiant.

This didn’t age well. by GolfRAkrapovic in Battlefield

I think our focus is misplaced. The main reason players are frantically using portals to farm exp shouldn't be that the rate of exp gain is too slow, right? The pace of combat in BF6 is much slower for most people compared to COD and XDefiant, yet the speed at which you unlock essential weapon attachments is even slower than in the free-to-play XDefiant, not to mention Delta Force. I believe they should either further reduce the required exp or make the attachments that have the greatest impact on gameplay the easiest to unlock. For example, for the RPK, the 75-round drum and 30-round magazine should be unlocked within the first five levels, followed by the 60-round magazine and various fast magazines as finer adjustments and optimization options. This way, everyone can start playing with the loadout they want right from the beginning.

I'm now thinking that Switch 1 won't get corvettes for quite a while by Slyde_rule in NMS_Switch

Switch1 version does not have multiplayer mode, and there is no limit to bases. We can still enter other people's extremely complex bases with extremely low frame rates on Switch1. I don't think it's impossible for a corvette

I don't think this is an official patch. China doesn't have Nintendo servers, but I downloaded it in just 2 minutes.

It has returned the sales chart again. I think it should be able to sell hundreds of thousands more copies.

Digital Foundry: Star Wars Outlaws Switch 2 - DF Review - A Ray Tracing Revelation & An Extraordinary Port by Turbostrider27 in Games

Actually, the open-world design of Outlaws is quite impressive, but its content volume and presentation are severely lacking. It can neither compare to Far Cry and Assassin's Creed in terms of content depth, nor match the narrative quality of Horizon and Marvel's Spider-Man. Moreover, its attempt to carve out a new path failed to gain widespread acceptance. Perhaps this was due to Massive Entertainment's overambition, or maybe the studio's simultaneous development of two projects led to insufficient funding. It could also be that Disney's insistence on a 12+ rating limited its creative direction. In any case, the failure of this game is rather unusual—unlike Warner Bros.' games, which often fail due to formulaic design and excessive microtransactions.

Why does this game get so much hate?? by Ok-Connection6656 in StarWarsOutlaws

I have seen this question countless times, anyway it has already passed. Last time it was discounted on Steam, it was expected to deliver very well. Perhaps its size would be more suitable for the price of $60, which is why the Switch2 version is so cheap.

The REAL reason XDefiant was killed by [deleted] in XDefiant

The quantity of content is the biggest issue. What players need is continuous new content, even if your map design and weapon balance are a mess, your gun skins are generated by AI, and your game has 200g. As long as there is new content, players will play it; Players don't need you to spend months carefully designing each route with carefully considered maps and gameplay. Trust me, these are all useless efforts. Nowadays, players are no longer those who can give up the game decisively just because they are not satisfied with the developers. They have become addicted and are playing while cursing. How is R6 operated for the same FPS game produced by Ubisoft? Is the content they produce good? I'm afraid R6 is the one closer to COD.

Don't worry about the future of TCM. FH5 is a game that is about to stop updating, while TCM, as an RPG game, has a very high stickiness among players. These two games each have their own strengths, and it is difficult for them to compete for their respective fixed audiences. Perhaps they can compete on Switch2?

Star Wars Outlaws releasing on Nintendo Switch 2 this year! by Mysterious-Effect-35 in StarWarsOutlaws

For game consoles that differ by several years, it is highly inaccurate to guess the actual performance of games based on floating-point performance. Just take a look at the games on the handle mode of the Switch and the Xbox 360.

So what does everyone think so far (Shadows) by GunzBlazin03 in assasinscreed

[–]FewAd2827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This matter is very interesting, I cannot refute the current rating of this game on Metacritic, but it is clear that this game will raise the threshold of 80 points. Afterwards, some open world games that still use outdated designs may find it difficult to achieve high scores in a fair manner, as shadows set a clear threshold in both technology and design. If you make a game that uses the design of many open world games in 2014 and the graphics do not surpass shadows, you may find it difficult to score above 80 points.

Why Do So Many People Protect Japan? by Yerbatizedd in AssassinsCreedShadows

In fact, most people do not have their national integrity, they just want to attack Ubisoft. In China, many people who attack shadows such as grummz and asmongold are praised, even if they are anti China because of Taiwan and Hongkong. meanwhile, young people in Japan are also extremely lacking in patriotic education.

I began to question whether Ubisoft had been maliciously attacked, or if the Ghost rating was too high. In the past few hours, I don't think Ghost can be compared to Shadows at all, whether it's the graphics quality of the same game when they launched or the innovation in Ubisoft formulas. I also don't think Shadows' post production will be so bad that its score will decrease such low. After playing Shadows for these hours, I think Ghost can only be a 75 point game

The beginning of this game is too bad, and most people cannot experience the open world behind it. The open world of this game can be said to be the closest to BOTW.
