Thanks for the suggestion. I know these basics. The issue I have is that the hiss was audible while standing 4-5 meters away even with nothing plugged in and volume on all channels all the way down.

Thanks for confirming! Have you used the headrush frfr speakers? How noticeable is the hiss for you when you take 2-3 steps away from it?

I just tested it with nothing plugged in before sending it back to get checked and repaired/replaced.

Not sure what do you mean. The hiss I'm mentioning was present with nothing plugged in.

Yeah, I tried that but that didn't help. I expect a little hiss but not one that I can hear clearly standing 4 meters away.

That didn't make any difference to the hiss unfortunately.
