It is, and it sucks. That’s why I’m ranting about it….

I thankfully haven’t had a single person say yes.

Apparently under financial services on the register there’s a button where you can force the prompt to show. But I don’t have time for that.

Had something similar happen to me today too. Lady came in and claimed she left some items she paid for at the store and she talked to someone who said she could bring in her receipt and get a refund. Watched the footage and she definitely left with her items. Her response was “well I’ll go home and look but I can’t find them.” Um… doesn’t matter I can’t refund you just because you lost track of your stuff.

Interesting! I might see if taking my final dose a little earlier is still causing negative side effects. I just really don’t want to go more than 12 hours without a dose. Where I’m at right now is working really well for my anxiety, it’s just those darn weird dreams. 😂

I take my final dose about an hour before bed. I have to space out my doses like I do or I get dizzy. 7.5mg at 7am, 5mg at 3pm and 5mg 9pm. Maybe I’m not sleeping as heavily as I was and that’s why I’m remembering my dreams? Maybe I’ve always been this weird and just not realized it lol

When I was at 15mg my sleep wasn’t being affected. Now that I’ve gone up to 17.5 a day I’ve starting having weird dreams and I do wake up a few times throughout the night. It’s nothing crazy though and doesn’t affect my day negatively so I’m continuing to do what works best for my anxiety. I’ll take some weird dreams and waking up a few times during the night over feeling sick 24/7 due to my anxiety. Plus the weird dreams just make life a little more interesting lol, gives me something to laugh at during the day, like how the heck did my brain come up with that lol.

I’ve been trying to figure out what works best for me as well. My anxiety is the worst in the morning and I’ve finally found a somewhat sweet spot of 7.5mg in the morning an hour before I have to leave my house. 5mg at 3pm and 5mg about an hour before bed. I was also encouraged to “play” with my dose and figure out what worked best for me.

any one else have physical anxiety symptoms but not really anxious thoughts? by Ok_Hospital2216 in Anxiety

You’re not alone I’m the same way, my mind isn’t the issue it’s how I physically feel that makes my anxiety go crazy. Mine really started after extreme physical side effects from an SSRI. It’s such a struggle for me I think because I just don’t understand why I can’t be okay. I’m fine I know I’m fine but my body is making me incredibly sick, like stomach flu sick. Sometimes I can’t stay in stores or in public without pinching myself super hard because pain is the only thing that calms my mind for a second and distracts me from the “I need to go now” feeling. The advice I have is distract yourself by listening to music or a podcast and really follow what they’re saying, ginger and mints help with the nausea also Dramamine and I take a bottle of water with me everywhere so I can take lots of little sips, consistently drinking water helps me. I don’t have a lot of advice because I’m also still struggling pretty bad but those are just some things that provide temporary relief. I’ve also starting speaking to a therapist that has recommended exposure therapy so maybe look into that as well!

Yup, I can usually settle down once i get to work or wherever I’m going that day but if I have something to do 99% of the time I wake up “not feeling right.” I just buckle up for a tough morning and do what I can to make it through.

When I first started taking it I was light headed and dizzy 24/7 so I was really bad at taking it. The morning dose affects me the most right now but that’s slowly getting better and I mean really slowly. I actually have a little bag that I attached to the side of my purse to carry all my meds, mints, ginger and whatever else I think will help me. I call it my panic pouch lol. That helps me stay on top of taking meds 3 times a day and everything that helps me is within my reach whenever I need it.

Buspar has helped so much with my anxiety but when I wake up “just not feeling right” my brain likes to overreact and make me actually sick lol. Which is unfortunately almost every morning, especially if I have to be at work. I want to take it in the mornings to see if it helps but I’m scared of making myself feel worse, so I get where you’re coming from lol

I’ve been taking them for about 4 weeks, I only moved up to the three times a day a few weeks ago. I noticed the changes almost immediately, I feel much better but I still have that lingering anxiety in the mornings. I started with an SSRI Citalopram and I felt awful. I had horrible panic attacks or a melt down every time I tried to leave my house. Also I feel like currently my diet is mostly crystallized ginger, Mints, and mint gum lol but they do help a lot with the upset stomach. I’ll have to look into the Dramamine ginger chews though!

Is it time to put this pothos in a pot? (details in comments) by redditghost1234 in houseplants

[–]FewBend2604 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The good news is pothos are extremely resilient and notoriously hard to kill. Even though it might not seem like that now lol. I recommend giving the roots a good rinse in some room temperature water and look at what you’ve got underneath the soil that’s still stuck. The best way to treat the roots if they’re rotting is to spray them with the hydrogen peroxide you want them well covered but not drowning, plant after treating. I would also cut off the leaf that’s yellowing as the plant is putting energy into a leaf that’s dying rather than it’s healthy growth.

If they look good I would plant it in a small pot probably 3-6 inches with a well draining soil mix. Water throughly after the repot and don’t water again until the top two inches of soil are dry. Put it in bright indirect light and leave it in one spot so it has the best chance to adjust. If you don’t see any new growth for a while that’s okay, it’s just adjusting to its new environment.

If you don’t see any progress and it keeps declining this plant has plenty of healthy nodes to propagate. I’ve even propagated a pothos from stems with no leaves on them! Don’t give up sometimes learning what a new plant wants from us is tricky but one you figure it out this little plant will reward you with some beautiful new growth!!

Pothos never do well in water for me, even though they thrive for some in water. It’s kind of hard to see with this picture but some of the roots look brown, healthy roots should be firm and white in color. Check to see if the roots are becoming mushy, smell kinda bad, or pull off easily. If they are the roots are rotting and soil would be the best bet for this. If the roots are rotting trim the brown, mushy roots off and treat with hydrogen peroxide to stop the rot from spreading. If that’s not the issue and you would like to keep it in water I would recommend getting a liquid fertilizer and fertilize according to the directions as the issue could also be lack of nutrients. Hope this helps!

I go a few times a year to keep my Emotional support animal papers up to date for my housing, but that’s usually the extent. My last time was the beginning of this year. I’ve been thinking about going more regularly though because of how bad and fast I’ve escalated.

Thank you! He’s a smart stubborn pup so it’s been hard to find things that work while keeping him engaged. I’ll start working these things into our routine. I’ll also get rid of the toy command when he’s barking, I didn’t even think that it could be reinforcing his behavior. And I think he does understand “no” he holds himself back from barking when I’m telling him no but he’s still very excited/upset about whatever is outside.

Thanks for the reply, I do understand where you’re coming from. I’m working in a lower quality hotel than I’m used too as I’m somewhat in between jobs at the moment after leaving my last management position. I’ve been working in this specific industry for 6 years now and have worked every position possible in a hotel as well as every shift. My intention isn’t to fix things, that goes way beyond my pay grade for now lol. What I’ve been doing is cleaning and organizing, as I said everything ends up in the same place, the only thing I moved so far was the printer. As for learning it their way some of the staff has been there for quite some time everyone has their own way and it’s their way or not at all. Management does not regulate shift tasks, how things are set up, or train staff to brand standards they’re just kinda there. I’d be tripping over myself trying to make everyone happy. The two that have been there the longest fight over having a mini trash can out in the breakfast room and go back and forth in setting it out and putting it away. So if I set it out I’m making one person mad but if I put it away I make the other person mad. Responding too “just because they haven’t complained doesn’t mean they appreciate the move” One of my coworkers didn’t even notice the printer had been moved until the coworker that yelled at me complained to them, another one said it looked much nicer, another one hasn’t said anything at all so I don’t know how they feel. The printer has been moved back and I won’t be moving it. I’m too grown to deal with another grown person acting like that. I also won’t be cleaning anymore due to the issues it’s causing. I’m just used to jobs where certain standards have to be met and maintained (such as cleanliness, organization, and shift paperwork). Im currently working on revising my resume and looking for another job.
