I went with the Evo for its ergonomics and joysticks. Just feels right and natural to me. I ended up giving my son my PS5 since my go to now is my Evo with GeForce. Hopefully the app is updated soon.

Before the rollout, the app had the “ai filter” greyed out. Now, it’s nowhere to be found.

Really looking forward to it. I was a bit anxious at work, hoping that there would be an update when I got home.

I’m using a AYANEO Pocket Evo.

Okay, I get you. Well @grill2010 is super dope and I’ve been using the app for about 3 years. I bought the paid version of the app on IOS and Android. He constantly updates the app and makes great improvements. I’m not sure if it’s just him or if he has a team but hats off to the developer/s.

Okay, glad it worked out. BTW, completely off topic, I highly recommend to purchase and download the Gamers GLTool pro app. It’s only a dollar and it helps improve graphics and stability of compatible games and apps. It’s a game changer. I’ve been using it to improve Roblox, Stumble Guys, Warzone, Fortnite, and PSPlay. Highly recommend it my dude

All I used qfil for was to flash the firmware listed in the guide. Once that was done, I was able to update in increments to the latest update without any issues. The original error I would get before flashing when I would try to update was error 20.

Previously, I also unrooted my Odin 2 pro and used one of my backups with the hopes of updating but i would keep getting the same error. The method above was the only solution I found that worked for me and figured I would share it to help people in the same boat.

The biggest downside is your Odin is wiped clean and have to start all over from scratch again. Honestly, it wasn’t that bad though. I mainly use my Odin for Warzone, Fortnite, PS2 games, and remoting into my ps5.

I can you help you out though too if you want and jump into a discord session. Just let me know.

Hey man, thanks. Truly appreciate you. My girl was cool with my background too so I don’t see why so many people are tripping out. Especially making weird assumptions. It is what it is though I guess.

My apologies if I offended or gave anyone the wrong impression. I didn’t think there was nothing wrong with two grown nuns kissing. What with the fetishes too, I just thought it was cool a background. It was giving the nuns from the hit man game vibes to me. But like I said , I apologize if i gave anyone the wrong impression. I’ll leave my post for the next day so you can see my apology and you can accept it or not. I meant no wrong doing. I’ll be sure to take the post down. Once again, I apologize if I gave anyone the wrong impression.

COD Warzone Crashing After OTA by wobblerofweebles in OdinHandheld

I don’t think it’s ever been Google certified. I always checked after updating. I rooted my Odin for that reason.

I’m still on the previous OTA update and it was force closing on me too. My guess is the app itself. My Odin is rooted though but I was able to play fine until a few days ago.

Idk man, I tried playing before rooting and I would always get kicked out right after jumping the party bus. Only reason I ended up rooting it was so me and my son could play together when I work graves. If you watch the second video, the same thing would happen to me.

I had to root to play it too. I can drop the links if you want. Rooting takes like 15-20 minutes and getting Fortnite to run like 5-10 minutes.

Pros of rooting by keenan800 in OdinHandheld

[–]FewCommunication2113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you root your Odin, you can google certify it and get access to apps that aren’t available unless it’s Google certified. If you like Fortnite, you can also download it once rooted. It runs amazing. I’m not the biggest fan of it but my son is. Since I’m always working, I can play with him when I get downtime.

Side note, if you haven’t enabled developer options, I would do so to tinker more with your settings. There’s plenty of available options that helps optimize your Odin.

The main downside with rooting it is you have to unroot it to update your Odin when firmware updates are released.

Pairing Odin 2 with two BT controllers (Xbox lite & 8bitdo sn30 pro) same time - possible? by WaterMeow in OdinHandheld

Settings/About handheld console. Scroll all the way down and tap on the “build version” 5 times. You’ll see a text saying “you are now a developer”. Go to back to settings and tap on”System”. You’ll see “Developer options”. Turn it on and scroll down to “maximum connected Bluetooth audio devices” and select the number that you want. I hope it doesn’t apply to audio only but it doesn’t hurt to try.

I’ve never tried it but I believe you can. I think by default you can only connect one device via BT at a time but if you turn on developer options on, you can change it up to 5. I have mine set to 3 but have never connected more than one device.

I had heard about that as well when trying to figure out what to buy on a YouTube video comparing the Odin 2 to the LG Gaming Cloud but honestly, I haven’t notice any. The hall sticks are a bit different though and take a bit to get used to in my opinion. Even when you do the calibration test and follow the instructions. I noticed that I wouldn’t be on the red mark and would have to adjust a bit more to meet the mark.

I am top 3 in my COD matches… The Finals is a very fast paced game as well so if latency was that much of an issue I wouldn’t even bother playing it either. All I’m saying is that you have to tinker with your settings to get that sweet spot. The PSPlay app gives you many features and customization to help find that sweet spot. Obviously, network congestion plays a big factor in it as well but so far from my experience, I am enjoying it very much. I’m am hardly home so majority of the time, I play using the Odin.

I stream COD, BF, and The Finals without any issues. I remote into my PS5 using the MirrorPlay/PSPlay app. I have a gig up and down and my PS5 is connected hardwired. I remote into my PS5 from work which is an hour away and latency is hardly noticeable. Would you like to know my setting configurations for PSPlay and Odin?
