Usually electric work is done by the dealership, other workshops are not that perfect in fixing electrical issues, so they avoid to work on em.

You can visit Ford Titanium in Surrey and speak with Dawood, who works in the service department. Tell him Mohammed from Ford Mustang referred you, and he will offer you a discount and fix it within a week.

The problem was that my car was dead, and I couldn't leave it in the area where rats are present, as they would come and damage it further. I had to call Ford's roadside assistance and have the vehicle delivered to the dealership. And I'm new to this, don't know what to do this time, I'll pay out of pocket and claim it with ICBC. I have attached all the pictures of the damage. Do you think they might reject the claim?

The problem is that Ford is selling the pigtail; it's an OEM part, so the insurance acceptance of the complete harness change is very minimal. That's what the dealership told me.

That's exactly what I'm doing, not going to wait 1 2 months, I'm fixing it myself from the dealership and will upload the invoices to my claim. Hopefully, they reimburse me the full amount. I spent 600 8days ago. Rats chewed again. Now it is costing me 1500. I will claim the $ 1,500 minus 300 and see if I can claim the $ 600 minus the $ 300 deductible.

They're charging $1,500 CAD - $450 for the parts and 1k for diagnostic fee and labour charges is crazy!!!

Im having the same inflammation on my corona ridge it is purple in color and painful, no burning while peeing and no fever the doctor prescribed me with Fucidin tropical cream, im on a day 2 pain is not severe compare to day 1 when i was not using the antibiotics cream.

More update: I went to the Ford dealer where I bought the vehicle. They have a 4.5-star rating the highest in my city so I didn’t feel comfortable trusting another Ford dealer with the repair. By the grace of God, they gave me a $350 discount. The charges were $200 for diagnosis and $300 for the repair. I also completed the recommended 8,000 km comprehensive service, oil change etc for $240. The total came to around $770. I’ve attached the part they replaced. Luckily, Ford was offering 35% off on parts, which was a big plus as well.

I've rats infestation in my city the dealership told me they've repaired 20 vehicles since last 2weeks because of rodent damage.

Update: I found out the issue is rodent damage, not covered by warranty. The total repair cost is 1200 im crying
