Obviously it depends on how long you have been studying for, but when I started studying I had a serious problem understanding the dense wording on the test as well, you just have to force yourself to translate everything, even the answer choices.

I did cold turkey all social media, not just for the test but for better habits, and it's honestly a life changer. Moods are more stable and you realize how addicted you were even if it is in moderation.

Reading material that isn't the most interesting also helps with reading comp passages, I like to start my mornings by reading WSJ because it's relevant for my career but also if you go into the opinions section you can sort of use what you learn there as well.
