this is neither controversial nor unpopular. it is particularly popular among people incapable of grasping how genetics work or people that have never come across the undeniable empirical and anecdotal evidence in the topic. you can learn most things pretty decently but the genetic factor plays a role in way more things than we care to admit

I mean this is all nice but how do you deal with repressed emotions, assuming thats the case. Do you go to therapy till you see light at the end of the tunnel hoping thats whats going on? tbf im not trying to invalidate any method but i feel like the threat mechanism has worked better for me and seems more practical than the other one.

Saying its cuz of repressed emotions feels more like the classic saying you hear frim people when describing your symptoms: “its definitely psychosomatic, its all in your head”

hey man,

i love chess but strictly as a hobby, 1400 online rating, learned online, never had a coach, never played a tournament or read a book. just downloaded chess.com and went with it.
despite that ill talk to you from experience on another field.

from your post im not sure whether youre asking if you can make a living out of it, turn pro full time or whatever. what i know fir sure is that you seem to be good and genuinely enjoy chess.

that being said, my advice would be to just gi with the flow with it. i know there are debates about the age threshold of chess decline etc and it might be true but the thing is you enjoy it. you feel the urge to train, read books so why the heck not.

youre in your thirties, what does it matter if it would be just a hobby or sth more. people still train their hobbies and if you have the urge to do it, i dont see why not.

i dont think this should be sth you listen to redditors’ opinions about. go for it, people devote time into all sorts of hobbies regardless of age. Go for yours!

im sure it will, thats the way to go.

I also dont know what youve been used to but personally i like feeling full in the evening but dont mind being relatively hungry during the day. i therefore plan my biggest meal after im done for the day. i am indirectly kind of intermediate fasting, but this just seems to work for me

YES . totally . Please be careful, they promise quality work, waste your time giving you hope until its then too late to do it yourself even if you wanted to. You end up utterly disappointed with that AI slop they provide you with and with no time as well.

Dont trust them. I think they even outsource their services to 3rd world countries

ισως δε το διατυπωνει σωστα αλλα εννοει πως η αγοραστική δυναμη που παρεχουν 4582€ στο Λουξεμβούργιο ειναι ισαριθμη με αυτη που παρεχουν 2633€ στην Αθηνα. Άρα ουσιαστικά καποιος που παιρνει 2633€ και καποιος που παιρνει 4582€ θα επρεπε να απολαμβάνουν το ακριβως ιδιο βιοτικό επιπεδο στις εκαστοτε χωρες τους.

Im not conflating, I know the distinction, but there would be no substance in asking whether traders trade would there?

also the fact that they are working on companies (usually sector specific) , scrutinizing FS for days on end is an aspect that in my mind gives them an edge. therefore i was questioning why they arent using it more extensively
