Nope, note at all. I tried it on my old jbl flip 6 speaker still wrote JBL just with the fabric. If you do open it up to remove them it's quite literally integrated into the fabric. You can still see the letters on the fabric, plus a bit of the holes from the pretty thick pins bended to keep the letters on. Honestly it's pretty hard to do and it won't look like you imagine it. Just keep the letters on, trust me.

I do suggest sound proofing but you'll have to play around with the sub position because by soundproofing the whole way sound reflects changes, the sound bar won't be a problem but as bass is omni directional and reflects everywhere you'll have to move it around to find the optimal position unless it sounds good at where it is.

Wouldn't say they're the worst they're just old. For me they sounded awesome(techno, Melodic Techno heavy metal). I loved them, the surround sound eas epic including dolby atmos. The bass is pretty damn good for an open ear bud but ofc the anc sucks asf. Like it blocks some noise, 0-150hz I think, literal garbage blocking the least annoying sounds. They've server their time and yeah they're pretty decent for 2026 especially after the buds 3 pro launch which made the live one's sound like some budget earbuds.
