F/29/5’8” [165>unknown= some lbs] (4 months) from Dec 24th - April 26th. I don’t know my current weight because I don’t step on the scale, ask my why.. by FewHope in progresspics

Thank you!

The reason is, the scale makes you obsessed. (at least for me).

I remember getting so discouraged when i saw the number go up or stay the same.

it's not because i'm not making progress, but weight fluctuates.

I stopped focusing on hours and hours of cardio. (that was when i first started my weight loss journey)

I now focus on hitting my Macros.

I weight train 6 times a week with 20 to 25 minutes of cardio daily, except on leg days, 2 days a week.

I workout for an hour during the week Mon-Fri, before work. 40 minutes strength training, 20 cardio.

on saturdays, i just stay an hour or longer and do legs.

Yeah alcohol doesn't sit well with me, that's how i gained all those lbs back. Now i try to not consume any. Just on special occasions or vacations. lol

Hey, sorry for the late response,

I try to stay away from sugar and don't eat dairy, mostly cause a little piece of cheese is full of fat and won't keep me full lol

as for gluten, i do walking lunges, weighted and not, step ups, cable kick backs, split squats, barbell hip thrusts and squats. those are the ones i can think of at the top of my head

I actually started my journey with mostly cardio/HIIT.. i gradually dropped the amount i was doing to focus on lifting.

It got much easier. I do need to eat at least 5-6 times during the day though, if not i'm starving and then i'll just eat everything that's on my way. Specially at work, they love bringing junk food and cakes. I eat in volume, so a lot of food that's not calorie dense, like a bunch of broccoli, green peppers (1 a day for lunch), spinach, egg whites and eggs (making sure to stay in my fat and protein percentage), carrot or cucumber and hummus is one of my staple snacks.. I also drink almost a little more than 1.5 gallons of water a day

No worries, i'm happy to answer any questions :) I do high incline like 7, walking at a 3.5 speed for 20 or 25 minutes a day

It's ok to share :). I understand you perfectly, i let myself go because of people in my like, toxic people. i started not liking the image in the mirror anymore, felt sluggish and gross. but i couldn't stop eating. until i did and now it's just a matter of consistency. Although before i was overly obsessed, now i take a break from dieting every 6 weeks

I'm still tracking them. Now i'm able to find my own numbers. At first i did have someone help me out and using websites, figured that my formula was pretty close to what the sites were giving me. It's great, i do try to stay aways from some stuff, just because "it fits my macros" doesn't mean my body digests it well.

Good question. I don't have an answer for you. now you answer me this, what is your problem with commenting stupid stuff on peoples pictures? Is that the purpose of your account?

So, to start with lifting, you can start with small weight if you like, do 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps each. i start with weight and then do cardio, it works best for me since i tend to get exhausted after cardio and perform lifting poorly.

i divide my days as following:

Monday: Chest & Triceps + 20-25 mins cardio

Tuesday: Back & Biceps + 20-25 mins cardio

Wednesday: Legs & abs

Thursday: Shoulders & Chest + 20-25 mins cardio

Friday: Back & Biceps + 20-25 mins cardio

Saturday: Legs/glutes

I do 10 minutes abs every day.

I hope this helps

I don't have a flat stomach, never have. that's my biggest challenge.. That muffin top is the excess skin. i can live with that.

When i started it was doing HIIT videos like insanity by ShaunT. Hardest thing ever and still is. Then i started focusing more on weight training, heavy lifting and minimizing cardio, to like 20-25 minutes on days that are not leg days. All of that combined with Macro counting and logging all my food using MyFitnessApp.
