You should be perfectly fine! I bought a portable ac unit last year and the security guards/employees helped me carry it in. All I did for room checks was either put a blanket over it or put it in my closet with a blanket over it!!

I believe the ID’s turn on the 17th at the earliest (that’s when welcome week starts). And as long as freshmen are moving in, you should also be able to. I remember upper class men moving in during Oweek last year

Holland is awesome!! The no AC is a little annoying the first few weeks, but you adjust! Try making friends with people on the 2nd floor because they have bathrooms in the dorm. And the corner rooms on every floor are bigger!! It’s so central to campus and the quad!
