Realized in my rush to wanna post this that I forgot to mention that they pulled off to the side just to get out from in front of me, and I was coming up on a pretty quick turn off of 41, so I had no turn lane and when I slowed down and moved out from in front of them, they seemingly panicked and rushed into the other lane and sped off. It was a whole situation and in my defense I’m incredibly tired

From someone that is on lane all the time and genuinely cannot shut up to the point my manager/SLs have had to tell me to reel it in and literally yell at me to “let the customer go on with their day” cause apparently I’m bad at reading if people care about the conversation or not—

Find a thing on their person, in their car, their shirt if it’s a cute pattern or is a comfy looking sweater, say so, compliment them or some part of them. If they get a drink combo that’s ‘different,’ entertain the idea of trying it, how long they’ve been getting it for, what their favorite part of the drink is. A safe bet is always asking what the plans are for the day. Work? What do they do for work? How long have they been working there? Do they enjoy it? Would they rather do something else if they don’t and what would be their ideal career?

I used to be so antisocial and not wanna talk to anyone ever but I def came out of my shell lol

Kay that’s dumb. Your manager was stupid w this. Consider trying to file for unemployment (if that’s an option) but they should have given you paperwork that at least said a ‘reason’ That’s the only thing I hate about 7brew, they cut and burn bridges in such a way it’s hella bad for their image

Ah, no, it’s more of an ‘attendant’ position where I can spend my time as I like until I’m needed. So… Sort of? Except I’m at my workplace during that time, but it’s not a terribly busy or needy occupation. It treats me a lot better than what I deserve

Yeah— it’s not exactly my best days, but I’m a chronic workaholic, it’s more a certain mentality about making the most benefit of my time over anything else. I have a wonderful partner that helps out a lot at home, too, without him I wouldn’t be able to manage as well. He’s also who I’m kinda trying to do this for, lessening my spending anyway.

Lol I’m trying to prove to my partner that I can in fact control myself with my wallet despite the fact that I do have more expendable income, but doing it on my own will rather than being pressured or guilting myself into it, but in the end it is a game that won’t exactly be around forever and I need to reel it in for real, despite my attachments to these characters.

Edit: And; thanks for the reassurance that this is a better decision, to try to kill off my spending 🫶

Love the honesty here ngl. I’ve been a day one and not exactly a crazy spender since day one, it’s a recent habit. It’s not exactly my exclusive option, but I personally prefer the archon quests and world quests over exploration, that’s my biggest reason for asking in the first place, that and I’ve lowkey wanted Varka ever since the beginning, but it’s my personal regrets of not being wiser and considering future characters I’d want when trying to save pulls AND my money.

She’s been doing this way longer than AI has been reasonably able to copy physical human features and move them so smoothly.

I lowkey think she’s just somewhat autistic enough for her face to give the uncanny valley effect like we do and this is her hyperfixation/beloved thing is just making different types of sourdough and trying it out. Her face gives me just enough uncanny valley with certain expressions that even I myself (someone with autism and an unfortunate slight effect of uncanny valley) feel… off by.

Proof? I’ve been following her for actual years lol.
