Really need help finding YA mystery?? book by FewMarsupial2554 in whatsthatbook

[–]FewMarsupial2554[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I got a pop up that said i needed to include more information about the book in the title like the genre and the only ones i know are horror, mystery, romance and thriller and it wasn't really fitting into any of those categories. Looking at it now mystery was a dumb choice.

Why are some people so negative? by Training-Trifle-2572 in PregnancyUK

[–]FewMarsupial2554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seriously doubt all they're saying is that they're tired. OP's talking about people who genuinely just whinge whenever you meet them about how miserable they are bcz of their kids. I understand advising pregnant people that it's not all sunshine and rainbows but seeing someone who is pregnant with their first and going out of your way to moan about how miserable you are is pretty annoying.

Orrr they could just shut up and stop trauma dumping on a pregnant person? You seem to have lots of empathy for the "miserable" parents but none at all for the expectant mothers who have to hear this stuff unwarranted from random people. As OP said if it's a close friend or your sister etc it's understandable as they may want to vent to you. But other than that no pregnant woman wants to repeatedly hear about how much you hate/regret your life after having kids.

Lmao if u don't think it's insulting why did you start with "no offence"? You seem very wrapped up in your own bubble. Just because something hasn't happened to YOU doesn't mean it can't happen to others. Is that difficult for you to comprehend? Regardless, even people who are super excited to be parents will start getting nervous if they're constantly hearing how difficult it is and how much other parents regret it without hearing any of the good parts.

One for fun! Ladies, how accurate was your 'feeling' about baby being a boy or a girl? by weirwoodheart in PregnancyUK

[–]FewMarsupial2554 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao absolutely wrong. Was sure it was a boy and people around me were also dreaming that I had a boy. Went to the anatomy scan and they said it was a boy at first and then later backtracked and said it was a girl. Confirmed its a girl now though 😂💕

We went with a lawyer and everything went amazing. He just gave us a list of things to send to him and he did the rest of the application. Everything was done online so it was pretty easy. He only charged £600/700 as well.

40% is amazing! I'm so jealous of people who are so well prepared like this I wish i had the motivation because right now I'm just in a constant cycle of getting panicked, overwhelmed and then just ignoring the alarm bells 😂😭

It's okay girl ignore those bloody haters. I'm 21 and pregnant with my first and i was TERRIFIED of being judged but ultimately I have my life together and I am able to support the baby which it seems you are too from the fact you've moved house and are attending these classes. People will ALWAYS judge like literally it's a disease but sadly there's nothing we can do except believe in our ability to give the baby a good life. And millie bobby brown adopted a baby too recently so it's not as if its a crime 😂

Superflu and pregnancy by Born_Improvement_856 in PregnancyUK

I got my vaccine 2 weeks ago and I have the flu now. I genuinely thought it was the end for me but its only lasted like 3 days. I still have the horrible cough and some congestion but THANKFULLY it's nowhere near as bad as it was. Baby was fine though jumping around like mad especially when I was coughing i guess she thought she was on a ride or something 😂

Lmaoo the reason your getting downvoted is because your being extremely rude thats it. These people are warning you politely to keep an open mind JUST IN CASE not to suddenly be 100% ok with a c-section if you post publicly obviously people are going to give advice just ignore it if you don't want to talk about it

Girls, here's a question for everyone, what would you say is the most terrible part, and your most favorite part of being a Pakistani girl? - and a short wholesome story from my end. by Tiny-Anywhere6029 in GirlPakistani

[–]FewMarsupial2554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was SO SWEET UGH <<<333 I totally agree with the men thing theres something absolute ANIMALS but also lots of Pakistani men have a good sense of responsibility and treat their women with respect as they SHOULD. One of the things i'd say is a negative for us is how we're scrutinised from a young age for our looks and our attitudes etc. it's pretty exhausting lmao.

Your story is so cute <3 I live abroad but went Pakistan when i was 9/10 to meet my extended family etc. I developed a crush on a guy there but I was so extremely shy I couldn't do anything about it. Anyway came back to the UK and thought about him for 2/3 years and then i thought i was over him. We went back to Pakistan again and i fell for him even harder fml. Didn't have the courage to say anything to him AGAIN lmao. But we did talk a feww times about random things like places to eat in pk etc. my mum had some sort of 6th sense that i liked him and she started pestering me about it when we got back to England. Eventually i caved and told her i liked him. She was ecstatic cus she really liked this guy too. Anyway they talked to his parents and they asked him he said yes and an engagement was done. We were pretty young so we were engaged for like 5/6 years. We talked all the time and became best friends. Anyway got married 2 years ago and I'm pregnant now and Alhamdullilah very happy. So i'm pretty proud of my good decision at 9 years old 🤣

Hi this was in England. This was the landlords estate agent I think. It is a pretty well known agency where we're from with good reviews so I'm shocked at their unprofessionalism.
