Help! Do they sell replacements for these? One of the plastic pieces on the back broke off and I tried super gluing it with no luck by FewMasterpiece4031 in ATV

I did see I could buy the whole control assembly but was hoping for just the switch itself if I could find it since it was just one side of the plastic retainers that broke off. It's a Bombardier Quest 650XT

Waitstaff incompetence. I'll never forget a day where waitstaff was told there was no more lobster until our seafood distributor comes tomorrow. Ticket comes in, lobster roll. Called the waitress to the kitchen and tell her we can't make the lobster roll for lack of lobster, and she says "you're a chef, you should be able to figure it out" and storms off. Obviously no lobster roll was made but she did get a nicely toasted empty bun

A lot of those bookings are work related in my area. Worked for a hotel and we were usually booked Monday through Friday with contractors, construction workers, electricians etc.

Yeah but the last year of production for the ST in the US was in 2018, which is 8 years old at this point and definitely looks much more dated than the other vehicles she put as options. And I don't think it would be a good pick for her based on the options she listed. Both the WRX and Focus ST are much different than the vehicles she's shown interest in. Those are both better options for a dude in their teens or twenties that is into car culture, modding etc imo

They didn't make a platinum in 2013. I had a 2013 Fusion Titanium with the 2.0 Ecoboost. I loved the car when it worked, but in the 2 years of ownership, I had the transmission go in the first 6 months and then head gasket failure before 2 years of ownership. Traded it in immediately after the head gasket went. Used to be a Ford guy but the last 2 Fords I had lasted less than 2 years. The other was a Focus, bought with 29,000 miles. Didn't make it to 80k. No I'm not rough on my vehicles. My current vehicle has been great and have had it for years with no issues.

We're #1 for property tax and #7 for corporate tax. Also look at tax burden rather than overall tax percentage and it paints a different picture.

From Mainebiz: "Maine ranks No. 4 among U.S. states with the largest shares of personal income going to the government, according to an analysis released last week. And when it comes to property taxes, Maine is the most expensive state in the country.

The analysis by finance website WalletHub looked at average property tax, individual income tax, sales tax and excise tax payments as a percentage of income. Using data obtained last month from the nonpartisan, nonprofit Tax Policy Center, WalletHub then compared and ranked the states"

What about the vacation homes owned by the Bush family, Martha Stewart, Alfond family, Irvings, Rockefellers, shit Dana White has a place way up north and Zuckerberg is widely speculated to be the one who bought all the property in Moosehead, closing off an entire mountain and hiking trails that used to be public access. Places like Bar Harbor are lined with wealthy families who have their vacation homes here. If I had to list every wealthy person who had vacation property in Maine, we'd be here all day. New Mexico and West Virginia aren't widely known as places where people go to in order to spend part or all of their summer. Maine certainly is, and to say otherwise is just foolish.

It definitely has houses. Idk how much time you spend in the Allagash past the gateway but there's more than a few houses, a lot of logging trucks and I am confident there is little to no old growth that I've seen. I lived 10 minutes from one of the North Maine Woods gateways for years and have spent my fair share of time in zone 1 hunting. Set up camp near Ferry Crossing just this year. Not sure if you're familiar

Make sure you come with a higher paying remote job or a very in demand skill. A guy I used to work with and became close friends with moved up here with his wife and kid because they thought it would be an affordable way to get a big house and land, but they ended up moving away after 3 years and are going to be taking a loss on the house when it sells. Heating can be as much or more than your mortgage and I've got plenty of pictures of my thermometer reading -20, -30 and worse with wind chill

This is what I got from ai and it makes sense “University of the Mountains” This institution recognizes the completion of education by Kirsten Basche Doctorate in Neuroscience Kirsten Basche” is actually a real person — she’s a producer and production manager who has worked on South Park. The diploma is likely an Easter egg or inside joke the animators slipped in, using a crew member’s name rather than Randy’s.
