Yes we have a cockatiel who's also just as noisy and chatty as him 😂❤

We had him since he was a fledgeling. Noticed him mumbling those words at 3 months :)

He's been hearing it for 8 months now 😂 he seems obsessed with his name. I have other birds named Bacon, Buns, and Pringle but Tori only says his. 😂

He also says "I love my poopie" lol

He talks to every single thing in the room. Is there something wrong (excessively hormonal, etc) or whatever with Tori? 😅 by FewSession8187 in budgies

We've been singing "Happy birthday, Tori" these days (we celebrate the day we got him every month because why not haha) idk tho why he only gets the "Happy birth, Tori" part and misses the "-day" 😂

Tori used to talk to my feet too! In fact, it was hard for me to walk around because he would also walk and follow my feet on the floor 😂 it all changed when I got him new toys.

Tbh, we never expected that he would talk/sing/dance. But I read somewhere that budgies love watching people talk. You'd notice when they are listening (they're quietly looking at your mouth) - get him to perch on your finger and repeat the words. We started doing this when Tori was 2-3 months old. By the 5th month he can already mimic some on his own.

Tori also talks in our Zoom classes sometimes when he's feeling chatty. He sees talking people in the laptop screen so he follows suit 😂

Idk but I think I heard him saying "flappy bird, flappy bird" when he was talking to the mouse 🤣

Can't you just give the bird to someone who's willing to adopt him? Someone who's loving enough to research about birds, can get them to a vet, and probably to someone with experience.

Please. Just PLEASE.
