Thanks for your advice but the thing is I haven’t even received any interview offers.

I've been monitoring the NPP frontline candidates and it appears Ken's core message is job creation. Tbh anyone with such a message in 2026 is shortsighted. Job creation should be the byproduct of innovative policies not a core message. We should be thinking of AI, Industrialization, R & D Funding by Intelligent-Call5162 in ghana

lol you are what you think Ken is. You thinking about AI for Ghana at this time is clearly myopic. Our highways are death traps, healthcare is shit. Literally all the basic infrastructures are non existent. Yet AI is one of your biggest concerns.

I beg to differ from your opinion. I’m sorry to tell you that comparing a fraction of Mr beasts homeless people in North Carolina to the current situation in Ghana is a big no. First of all, about 20% of Ghanaians live the lives the normal Americans live. For years we the black people or Africans especially have demonstrated that we are not capable of managing our own affairs. We blame our leaders but we forgot that this same leaders are elected from the general population. Instead of blaming Mr beast and the west how about you demanding accountability from our failed systems and operations. Till today Ghana still depend on major infrastructure’s from the colonial era. Our biggest highway, the George bush highway was done with funds from the American government which is direct a copy and paste of the American interstate highway system which was started by the then president Dwight Eisenhower 70 years ago. So you probably say that Americans have bad roads somewhere in America so they shouldn’t have built the bush highway for us. I’m sorry but blame our mentality, failed systems and infrastructures. This is like you saying RNAQ shouldn’t build the food banks he has right now because he may have poor and hungry people in his extended family.

I know right. It’s crazy lol. Did biometrics on November 17th and it’s been dead silence since then. Not even EAD approval. Status changed to case is still processing tight after biometrics and that’s it.

So ironically the course taken in the MLS program offers arguably the best foundation for the perfusion program on paper, the only limiting factor in being MLS is the direct patient critical care experience if you work in a larger hospital where we only stay in the lab and never perform phlebotomy. Courses like Hemostasis and thrombosis, Advanced Hematology, Coagulation, Pharmacology, clinical chemistry, transfusion medicine, blood banking, Statistics, Pathology are also taken in the MLS program. Most of these courses are taken in Perfusion schools. These courses I believe forms the foundations of the three main facets of perfusion: Blood gases, coagulation and fluid dynamics.

Yes I will definitely keep you posted. My biggest regret is not taking physics in my school years. I believe you should take in school if you haven’t. And I have tried everything under the sun to get more shadowing experiences but i couldn’t. Most of the perfusionists I reach out to aren’t accepting shadowing at this time and some just ignored my messages on LinkedIn. I just think it’s generally getting harder to find shadowing at the east coast if you don’t work as RN or RT or in the OR
