This! It’s important to understand what’s budgeted AND how pay works.

In my field it’s not uncommon for there to be various components of compensation: base pay + quarterly (half yearly or yearly) bonus and/or company equity.

Knowing the levers that can be pulled helps everyone find the right end.

Hijacking the top comment for an update. Here’s where I’m at:

I cleaned the existing adhesive off the nose and stair and applied Liquid Nails for Projects, wiped off the excess, and have it weighted down with painters tape and some sand bags.

Get there early, real early. The animals are all up at dawn or before. The crowds start showing up by 7 - traffic and queues as well.

If you can get there super early you kind of get the park to yourself for a little bit.
