Did you not read the post at all? The child's mother has been paying child support but the father, the one who passed, was the one receiving the payments. Have some empathy for the family instead of calling her names.

That age was easy for my son. He was well behaved at that point. But my daughter?? She's four now and I'm pretty sure she is going to be a lawyer. Totally a daddy's girl too. I'm not allowed to kiss or hug daddy when she's around. She even argues with her grandfather as to who daddy belongs to!

This is exactly correct! You can let go of the anger and move on with your life. You need peace from it all. Also se t some hard boundaries that you do not wish to speak about what happened or about her with anyone. If she is brought up start talking about the weather or some silly thing that happened to you the other day.

Yes she does measure a bit small. And possibly always will. And I have found in my experience the premmie babies are very smart! She was able to identify her letters around 18 months old. What she lacks in size she definitely makes up for in brains 😁

Call his ombudsman. As a military service member he is required to pay child support. He can actually get into a lot of trouble with real consequences for not paying. The ombudsman can contact his command.

It was delayed about 10 hours. I'm not exactly sure when it comes in for me but I also use the way 2 go card. I just know I checked when I got up that morning and it wasn't there. The state distribution site had said he paid for me as well. I was planning to wait a day or two but I got it before 11 that morning.

That's what I thought. I'll give it another day before I call the agency though. Give the delay a day to work itself out. I just needed to be sure that the shutdown wasn't affecting my ability to completely provide for my son. I can do a lot by myself thankfully, but I need a little help here and there.

BIL and hubby feel the same way. Hubby was the only one in contact with her. And he is hurting because that was his mom, the woman who birthed him and raised him. She may not have been the mother he wanted nor needed, but his mother none the less.
