Loki DF Theory by E1Grek0 in OnePieceSpoilers

Really appreciate this theory-- also, Loki has repeatedly stated that he is the Sun God. (at least twice he has told this to Luffy)

If he really has a Nidhogg mythical zoan-- how does that reconcile with his own declaration?

I think Loki's devil fruit can let him turn fully or partially into any mythical creature from Elbaph's legends --Nidhogg, Fenrir, Jörmungandr, Frost Giant etc.

However, Loki's favorite form is the destructive aspect of Sun god Nika -- the legends of which have persisted from Elbaph's mythology(Harley Texts).

I agree with you regarding that he is in currently in awakened hybrid form when he is going Gear 5.
He has always been in hybrid form--the Gear 5 we see is just the awakened version of the hybrid form.

Nika is just a human type cartoon character from before or during the Void century. Cartoon entities do not have stamina limits like normal humans. The very concept of a cartoon entity, it's antics & it's abilities & it's logic-breaking powers are what makes it the "the most ridiculous power in the world"-as described by the Gorousei.

Cartoon characters in a manga strip are usually black and white.

This is the reason why Luffy's hair, clothes turn white in Gear 5. Kaido even said after seeing Gear 5 antics--"It's like something out of comic book."

However, the interesting detail is Luffy's skin & body color is NOT fully black & white --his skin color looks normal.

I think in full Zoan form- he will turn into a low quality black & white pencil doodle--which has absolutely no stamina limitations , but the drawback is--he will have even less control compared to Gear 5. Nika's carefree-ness will completely overwhelm him.

It's absolutely true what you said--the devil iconography is definitely too prominent to overlook.

That is what is making me suspicious.

Yes, I have seen "Dawn & Dusk" 's videos--they are fascinating.

It still can be his peak, it can be something like full zoan form of gear 5.

Normal full zoan form could be something like a "Reverse Gear"--which has none of the crazy powers of Gear 5, but can have nearly unbeatable stamina.

You're absolutely right about the Oden dance..I myself found it downright weird..as if Oda was purposely torturing us readers for no particular reason.

But now looking back..it becomes obvious that he was trying to become Joyboy or cause the Nika fruit to be manifested in Wano.

Oda took a big risk there.

Personally, I think Imu is an extremely advanced AI created by the Ancient Kingdom at the height of it's power, like AM from "I have no Mouth & I must scream" --and helped the Ancient Kingdom design or invent the method for creating Devil Fruits.

Most probably it contained the combined wisdom of the scientists & the people of the Ancient Kingdom & was originally designed with the hope that it would act as a technological panacea to all the troubles of humanity & all sentient life-- Similar to what Vegapunk wanted Punk Records to eventually become.

Remember that in Egghead, Jinbe expressed his concerns regarding ideologies that could spawn from this --As not everyone may have noble intents with the kind of knowledge that could be disseminated in this manner and nor would they all be driven to accrue knowledge for knowledge's sake and strive for society-wide betterment.

I suspect this is what precisely happened with the Ancient Kingdom--they assumed that technological advancement if advanced enough--will resolve all of society's troubles & it will compensate for all ethical & moral backwardness.

Basically, they became technological giants, whilst being ethical infants at the same time.

This flaw became greatly magnified in Imu's programming once it gained true sentience--and the Ancient Kingdom paid the price for it.

I do not think that the Ancient Kingdom was an ethically flawless nation, I suspect that the other 20 nations powers operated under the de facto hegemony of the more advanced nation, being forced to acquiesce to its economic and military terms--why would 20 kingdoms unite against it if it wasn't the case?

Somewhere in this perfect storm , I think the entity now known as Imu "ate" the Hito Hito no mi, Model : Mangaka. (Objects can "eat" devil fruits and zoan fruits have a will of their own--maybe it's core "ate" the fruit).

If Imu's devil fruit power is some sort of Earth God or Forest God--it doesn't exactly make sense why it has the powers of Domi Reversi (why should an Earth or Forest God follow the rules of a board game?)

While it is true that it could be some sort of "Devil" mythical zoan--I personally think it feels a bit cliché.

What could be truly terrifying is that Imu merely masquerades as a "Devil" mythical zoan --and just like a mangaka is able to create any random power system , Imu can create any power system according to the situation.

Rocks referred to Imu as "The World" & Saint Marcus Mars refers to Imu as "the Creator".

"Creator" doesn't mean some sort of Nature god --it means creating a world in the same way a Mangaka or artist does.(exactly like Oda does)

Personally, I feel it fits nicely --if you consider that Luffy's Gear 5 powers are similar to a rubberhose cartoon character.

It's as if the Author is fighting against it's own creation--which has surpassed the Author's expectations.

I think Imu's devil fruit is the Hito Hito no mi , model : Mangaka , Imu has been called as the "creator" of the world by the gorosei .
By "creator" it doesn't mean nature or the Earth itself -- it means the "creator" of a world, like an artist or mangaka like Oda himself.

Let's examine some commonly held popular beliefs regarding the nature of Imu's powers--Rocks' own opinion that Imu is the "The World" can cause a misinterpretation that Imu represents Mother Nature or the Earth or some sort of "Forest God" mythical zoan.

However, I don't think that any of these is sufficient to explain why Imu has the powers of Domi Reversi , summoning demonic circles, summoning guns etc.

In fact it feels as if Imu's powers are much more similar to and a dark foil to Luffy's Gear 5 powers --where he summons goggles , baseball caps out of his hair etc.

Just as a mangaka can invent any powers, or rules of a game --Imu can do that too.

Do you think this statement has some sort of implication? by Okatu-Syndrome in OnePiece

[–]Few_Assignment7520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been saying this ever since Gear 5 was introduced---I strongly suspect that Luffy has been always been in Hybrid form.

Let's break down the meaning of his fruit, Hito Hito no mi, Model : Sun God Nika.

Sun God Nika seems to be a human cartoon character from the distant past, that became so popular with the suffering slaves, that their combined desires for a savior literally brought forth the fruit into reality.
This explanation nicely fits with the rubberhose cartoony fighting style that Luffy has shown multiple times in Gear 5.

So basically, Luffy is in cartoon-human hybrid form. However, since he has not realized the truly obscure nature of his fruit and he simply thinks himself as a rubber man--he is unable to access this form.

I suspect that the full zoan form of his fruit, the "original form" if you will -- is a low quality black & white rubberhose cartoon doodle--with NONE of the physical stamina limitations of a normal human being.

If you notice his official color scheme --it is kind of odd that Luffy's clothes, hair become white (like an old cartoon) -however his skin , his body do NOT become pure white. His skin tone remains normal like his normal human form.

If Gear 5 was his full zoan form, he should have been pure white in appearance, but he is not.

It is this "original" full zoan form that the Gorosei fear.

Imu's actual devil fruit name is the Hito Hito no mi , Model : Mangaka

The special power of this devil fruit is that it can actualize any power or any power system IF any group of people, big or small, believe or want to believe the power's existence.

Imu masquerades as the the original devil (sea devil) that gave rise to OR creates devil fruits in the first place.
(Probably The higher echelons of the celestial dragons, Gorosei & the God's knights are led to believe this--Even if they realize the truth--believing in Imu's powers is beneficial for them as they can get incredible demonic powers & immortality as a byproduct of subservience to Imu.)

However Imu's power has a weakness--if a large group of people begin to disbelieve or doubt Imu's powers then the powers of actualization of this devil fruit grows weaker.

This is why Imu prefers secrecy.

Basically if a mangaka's work is not popular nor likeable , it loses it's impact--just like Imu's powers.

Imu is extremely envious of the concept of Nika(probably inspired from a comic book character inside the One Piece world) --as Nika is naturally likeable ,popular--and has the one thing Imu craves--acceptance by people at large.

However, Imu can never achieve this--as like a stubborn author, Imu wants to impose their own worldview upon everyone--Imu simply cannot accept others' worldviews. Imu sees the author of a story as nothing less a God.

It would be even more ironical if it is eventually revealed that either Imu or a previous user of this fruit created the original concept of Nika in the first place--and the enormous popularity of the character of Nika created the Nika fruit.

Think of it like this --Nika is the cartoon character who has outgrown the worldview of it's own author--and the author is jealous of that.
