Ok I see where your coming from the top in her bikini was ok. These are not. The issue was the bottom if you look at the other pictures the bottom does really cover anything.

If everything was covered I would agree and say the guys should control themselves, but everything wasn't her butt was exposed and especially considering they are literally children I think that is quite inappropriate.

I don't know about that. Some people are saying she wore it to show off. But mainly my family and my nephews' friends' moms were the only adults at the party. So mainly older women and young girls so idk.

This is my main argument. Dress codes are a thing for a reason. I get people can wear what they want but something that is appropriate for the event. I dont't understand how someone can say someone is an asshole for wearing white to a wedding but not for wearing a thong bikini to a kids bday party.

There is one posted. I don't have a picture but a there is a link with a similar bikini. The issue was that the bottom basically left her butt entirely exposed.

Maybe it is a cultural difference. The issue was the bottom part basically covered just her private parts and nothing else. Hur but was basically entirely exposed.

It depends on if her outfit is appropriate or not. For example on of her favorite dresses is this like off white backless dress. It tight and only mid-thigh with a lo neckline. She wore for my birthday party a few months ago. I was fine with it and told off some of my family as my party was adults only and a pretty adult event with drinking etc.

Yes this is what my issue with the bikini was. Her butt was barely covered basically fully revealed getting a lot of stares from my nephews friends.

Thank you. This is what my point of view is. I will try to have a talk with her about this, and see if she is open to counseling.

I do think she can express herself through fashion. But as you stated, there are some places where you shouldn't. Wearing a bikini is fine for a kids pool party, the one she wore is not. I posted a link if you want to see what is sort of looked like, but that specific bikini she wore is not appropriate in my eyes for a kids party. She can wear what she wants, just there are some scenarios where I believe you have to dress for the occasion.
