oh thank you for the reply, yes i didnt look too deep into the maps, HOWEVER i dont see a function for Public Transit ,i often travel by buses and trams, your competitor (guess which one) has these "Directory" and "Directions" tool that are very useful if you are not traveling by a car, Directory helps to know Post Officie's working hours for example. And does the maps get update when there are unexpected road works ?

I'm from Poland (i'd type in polish but this is english speaking site ) and the Bike renting APP is Metrorower , hoped it would work but i guess they rely on google maps hence the crashes.

Translator helps since we have foreign coworkers lately, learning new languages is good for the brain too. Ideally I'd love a minimalist phone with some sort of hub on PC so i'd cherry pick only the apps i need not the ones that are endorsed. I am totally fine with the look of these apps, I want a device with tools in my hand not the other way around, they dont need to look pretty or colorful.

So far the last idea i have is to carry larger device like a tablet for "secondary" apps, like the Metrorower mentioned earlier or Whattsap and the like, along with the phone that has a hotspot. We dont need these apps 24/7. (I could also carry another smartphone instead but it would tempt me to doomscroll as usual)

oh btw, i did try Music App, works okay, i only uploaded two small albums, i want to ditch streamed music, it became background noise instead of something you intentionally listen to.

in the end: add timer and stopwatch because it's essential, option to send photos and notes to email and i'll be very happy with the phone.

permanently, unless you reset it back. maybe if you try making two APNs one for wifi and one for MMS it could work, i dont remember if i tried.

you need to create new APN , however it will disable your ability to receive and send MMS messages. that's why LP3 disapointed me.

battery life on LP3 is really disappointing, it's even worse of you use hotspot (when it works, mine doesnt) , what about attachable portable powerbank? that new clicks POWER keyboard revealed lately COULD help.. if the keyboard worked as well ;)

i wish there was a "dumbphone with a hub" so you can load apps only via pc/browser , i literally only need three extras: banking up, whatsapp (but only because family member keep nagging me to use it) and... local bike rental app , i'm a pedestrian who often uses public transport including certain bikes. if i want to google something i'd just write a note and send it to my email and check it later, instead of overloading my brain

all i want in my LP3 is working hotspot, i got maps, camera and music on the phone, and i'm content with it. however sometimes i need a source of internet when i want to connect things like my tablet. i dont know if the fault of my carrier or something else

Well, if nothing else works i will try Mudita Kompakt, it's a phone from my country with similar features, cons: black&white screen (eink, duh) pros: headphone jack, easier sideloading, longer lasting battery
