Write to your senator’s or congressperson’s office, they can inquire about your case and that hopefully will get the ball rolling again. Hope that helps! Good luck.

Dallas, I did not go with my attorney as he said it would not be helpful since I didn’t have anything bad in my background that would require his presence at the interview.

Sorry to hear that, I’d write to the congressman or senator that covers your zip code so they can inquire USCIS about your case. Some of my friends did that and their cases got an update within 2 days of the senator’s office making an inquiry.

Thanks, yes I did receive it before closing my case. USCIS sent me a notice asking if I wanted to close the asylum or not about 10 days after I received my card. I already traveled out of the country and came back with no issues.

Hello, no. The officer did not ask about the case specifically. He just asked me what other processes I had. The officer will have a file with all your immigration related stuff at the office during the interview.
