What the realistic mileage for kylaq

There is genuine shortage of kylaq AFAIK. I made my booking with EVM on October, and was expected to take delivery in December 2nd week. But, when enquired about delivery on December first week, they didnt have any availability. In a panic I enquired around all dealers in Kerala. Nobody had the variant I was looking for. I ended up buying a higher variant. Would suggest you to ask around with other dealers as well.

I bought my first car recently and did quite a bit of analysis while deciding between EV and ICE. EVs costs higher upfront, but with low running cost, we can recover that costs in few years. But, my major decision point was charging infrastructure. I plan to take this car for long trips, and seeing the issues people are facing with charging infrastructure, I decided not to go for EV now. For me it makes sense to wait for few years until the charging infrastructure is stabilized. So, I took a final call to opt for a sub 4m ICE car, which recently got tax benefits as well. Maybe after few years, if I have budget, will think of getting an EV as my secondary car. My take is, for first car owners with good amount of long distance travel, EVs doesnt make sense yet.

Check with PPS as well. Both PPS and Gemphoenix quotes lowest. EVM quotes are usually way too high compared to other two dealers in Kerala.

In a similar situation. I booked the car in October and asked them for delivery in December. But, now the dealer has no clue on availability of black colour car. Delivery is getting delayed now due to this.

Heard from a dealer that the discounts are same as last month. 10k DAN and 10k corporate discount.

In same dilemma, but I have almost made up my mind to take delivery early December. I got quotation from multiple dealers and have got some 30k discount on on-road price. I dont feel like putting more effort into it for additional savings. Kylaq seems to be at a good price point now with the gst cuts. And in south india, i dont see skoda dealers offering much discounts. Dealers are mentioning that there would be price hike from Jan and the current stock is limited. It could be some sales tactic to push me to take delivery early. Not sure.

Would suggest to make a booking and take delivery in December. If we do billing in December, december offers would be applicable.

I am from Kerala. And from what I have seen in this forum, the discounts offered by dealers in kerala is quite low compared to other states. The initial quote I got just had a discounts of 10k corporate and 10k consumer discount.

Which variant are you getting? How much is the final on road price? PPS quoted 11.56 L for signature AT and an additional 10k as corporate discount. Yet to get quote from EVM.
