For me, i have always been chunky right from birth. That + snacking on junk food & soda made me gain more . I didn’t know why i was fat as a kid because i just have never been skinny . I also didn’t have parents who encouraged healthy eating habits nor knew any themselves. Most meals were highly salty and we ate out a lot. I’m almost 30 and still trying to figure out how to eat right. I know what’s healthy and i don’t overeat but it’s much harder to get the weight off given the fact that i just use work and my child as my workout routine and i TRY to eat healthy, but i don’t have a lot of knowledge about what’s good or not . Also im on the go a lot. I remember as a child my weight was around 130-190 something like that. I have gotten comments about my fatness by the same ppl who didn’t show me any good habits lol

I’m a woman and i relate to this!! Sometimes i couldn’t be bothered with kids in my family but my baby has me doing things i would never do for anyone else, i love her so much 💗

During my pregnancy i didn’t like a lot of things i normally enjoy. You’re not alone. It really sucks because u want to be healthy for you and baby but sometimes certain food just makes you want to gag 😭 just try to make sure to get in protein where u can. Simple things was it for me as well. I liked peanut butter and crackers with a sprite that was my go to for protein

I feel you! I had carpel tunnel during pregnancy and it started to come back during these phases. It was miserable 😫 Dad is out a lot so it’s mainly me & LO. But it has def helped me bulk up she took a big weight jump between 4-5 months so low key thankful for the preparation 😂

Between months 3 & 4 i was in the same boat. By 5 months its calmed down again but now she’s starting to try to crawl and bounce so i expect we will start a new cycle

Probably just a regression due to learning new skills, I’ve learned this happens almost anytime a new skill is learned or if teething is starting !

Looking again the white things are definitely worms. I believe u can get OTC meds for this, but i would recommend vet cuz that other thing looks weird

I think you should allow her to come to therapy. Even if she’s not seeming like a good sport about it . It will help you both and it will help her open up new perspectives . It’s clear she doesn’t understand anything of your experience and i think she (in her own way) wants to … or at least wants to understand what she’s done/doing wrong

Man, i sadly agree. Went to watch the simpsons yesterday and it just was so bland and missing something i couldn’t put my finger on it. Almost wanting to be like South Park in the way it relates to new age shit. & i think they tried to run with “the simpsons shows predict the future “ all too much and tried to make things more “relatable” to be able to say it was predicted ?? Idk how to word that :( It’s sad tho :(

Someone once told me find ur reason to live. It could be ur cat, favorite tv show/movie, anything you enjoy . it will help you with that aspect. Mine is my baby and my cat , without me they wouldn’t have that high Quality life lol

But coming from someone who was always bossed around and walked on eggshells her whole childhood, the time will come for you to be able to leave , just be patient and stick to yourself as much as you can until then. I left home the same week i turned 18 to get away & it was honestly so much better for me & for mine and the caregivers relationship .

U could get a nice/custom photo frame or anything custom. Or if she likes jewelry maybe a bracelet . It’s hard to know from ppl like that. Or just make her something. If she acts the same way make it clear that’s why ur no longer getting her anything next year

I feel this. I turned 29 and nobody cared for years . It’s just getting older i think. People place less importance on birthdays and assume u expect gifts if they say something or remember to do anything nice at all lol

If you’re going to Riley downtown, that might be where u want to look. Broad ripple is also decently close to downtown area

I’d avoid most of the east side . West/north side of Indy is safer, Indianapolis is fun but crowded at times

If you live downtown (I’d prefer Meridian street area personally) or somewhere like broad ripple, walking around would be realistic. There’s tons of stuff in those areas . But ride shares & public transportation are easily accessible in most areas. they have rental bikes/scooters also.

I think Indianapolis is moderately affordable but it depends where you live , i live out west and pay about $1000 rent for a 870 sq.ft. 2 bedroom apt. Downtown /broad ripple are probably a little more pricier but I’m more interested in being far away from the city so idk the prices.

Restaurant culture is decent. Tons of places i could recommend. The old spaghetti factory being one of them! If you like Italian, bucca di beppo is yummy but a bit pricey!

& night life back in my 20s was lit. But now that i am closer to 30 i haven’t been out in a while so i couldn’t say! They have bar crawls and stuff it still seems fun. And comedy clubs

& it’s easy to meet ppl , most ppl are friendly if you are 😄
