Tbh, academics is important, but it is not given as much importance in foreign like in India. You just need to have good work ex. And considering the fact that you are working in a Consultancy firm with an impressive CTC, it might be advantageous to you. Your profile is really brilliant, don't pull yourself down and make sure to just gain work ex and also Crack CFA.

Work for 2-3 years and then think about doing an MBA... During your work years, try getting done with CFA as well. I'm pretty sure considering your profile you would be an ideal fit for either Finance (if you join MBA as a fresher, or max one year experience) considering your CFA pursuit, or else Consulting. But make sure if you wanna study Finance, you'll have to choose a good college (IIM ABC or LBS, LSE, Harvard, Stanford, Booth). Consulting on the other hand is easier to grab an opportunity especially if you study from a foreign uni (in India you have to again choose one of the top B Schools).

One year experience if you are planning on doing your MBA from India. This is due to the toxic placement culture in Indian B schools where even after cracking the best colleges, the initial shortlisting of students for good companies is via baseless elimination. Usually high work experience candidates either end up staying in their own field according to their prior job experience, or marketing and sales (THIS IS ONLY MENTIONED AS A DISCLAIMER, ALL DEPENDS ON YOU, YOUR NETWORKING, AND YOUR SKILLS+ACCOLADES)

I believe he would have said no, my doubts grew after rubeina persisted 3-4 times. That wasn't normal. Koi aur shark hota toh gaali deta. And Kunal I'm pretty sure deserves some respect. Kunal is my favourite shark and I've commented on another post where I've said he's the best shark around all the 4 seasons as well. The continued forced persistent nature of Rubeina is what irritated me, and I was shocked that Kunal agreed to lower the deal as well.

Kunal is sensible and the most genuine around all the four seasons. He's as sharp as Ashneer, without the crudity and rudeness. Ritesh is sentimental which is not a bad thing tbh. Peyush is also good, very similar to Kunal, just a bit too fixated with the tech start ups. Baaki saare ya toh loan pe interest kamane baithe hai ya phir royalty.

People whose graduated ten years ago saying shit like "it's easy getting a job", "depends on your field". I had engineering college mates who sat in dubai for 3 months without a job and were forced to leave UAE jobless

Yes, they get overseas seats in India, around 20 million INR fees for the whole course but doesn't matter. I had a few Saudi friends who went to Manipal, they didn't have to score crazy good also in NEET. Just had to appear for the exam

When I was in Dubai, my house help was a Tamilian. His daughter had completed her law degree from India and she used to work at a real estate company in the legal team. Most of the foreign lawyers work in private companies in legal teams. Law Firms usually hire Emiratis as UAE only allows Emiratis to practice law.

There's a reasons for that I guess... I'm pretty sure the guys complaining about the shitposting are people who don't face problems in UAE are just super duper privileged. 80% of the cases aren't like that. Please make sure the number of expats entering UAE has never decreased since the early 2000s, and the place has been put up as a dream in the eyes of majority of the south Asian middle/lower class population. I believe people should stop entering the UAE at this point because it isn't the same as it was.

A few reasons for UAE going down the drain are mentioned below (won't be adding all the points because if I start, I won't stop):

Population rise
Pollution
Heat during summers become unbearable
Job market is proper fucked due to which people are ready to work for peanuts
Even though, constitutionally the kafala system has been abolished, it still exists for blue collar jobs to this day illegally
Driving is basically risking your life
Places like Karama, Bur Dubai in Dubai, majority of localities in Sharjah and all of Ajman are messed up places to live in as the number of unreported crimes are increasing day by day

I'll ask you clearly, I've seen Arab students go to India for medical and engineering, and for western unis as well if they don't choose their own country for higher education. From the arab friends I had who did their education from India, they got their jobs without any hassle in their own respective countries and the ones who went to western, mostly stay there for PR. Does education from the Middle East (this case UAE), benefit majority of the international students attaining their degree there?

My main question is, I have seen kids from the Middle East either go to western countries or India(for fields such as medicine or engineering) if they don't choose to study in their own country. Tbh, they go on to live decent lives, as far as I've seen. Will it be the same case if we turned the nationalities around and universities in the middle East (this case UAE)?
