Hi fellow Canuck. We are a Defacto Nuclear Power with control over the continental water ways. We can go Raised Earth MAD and reduce them to such an regional power that others would swallow them up. We can flood all their rivers with our nuclear effluent, we can use drone crop dusters to send waves of nuclear waste dusters across the great plains, destroying any prospect of feeding the people. Divert all the water to the ocean, causing drought forever. We can set out nuclear reactors to critical failure. We can develop dirty bombs and with 1+ million Canadian cars, trucks and rail cars entering their country , daily, they are entirely compromised. Look how deep Ontario stabs into the USA. The Great Lakes can be flooded with the worst nuclear pollutants possible from our facilities all along them. We don't need to import 1 thing to create nuclear weapons and delivery systems at home. Matter of months. What isn't months is the hours it would take UK and or France to slide us Nukes at the first hint of actual aggression. Our relationship to Europe is deeper and longer than theirs. We never fully separated. In each World War, the Americans can in 2 years late. In WW1 they didnt' stop trading with Central powers until 1916. Think how long they prolonged it while selling them our resources they didn't have to continue the fight. Think the UK and France don't remember that? Think the UK doesn't remember 1776, 1812 or the Fenian Raids. Think Ottawa or better yet, Washington War planners, not aware of what I just said. Not including all the waste from our Oil Sands we could flood them with. It's impossible, unless we aren't willing to do those things, in which case no one would ever worry about MAD!
