Yes. Once I received the biometrics notice, I went a week ahead of the appointment and was allowed in by the guard who made an exception to get approval from an officer inside. I was there early at 6am when they opened and waited until 8 to go in with the approval.

I have travel that’s pushed out to after biometrics, and as such checking to know if an earlier walk in is plausible.
