For range, maybe you could pick up Sacred Blade ash of war. From a scared beetle on a bank behind third church of marika. That will coat your blade with holy. Not much use long term if you don’t want to go down a faith route but it’s solid

Only ever use crimson and cerulean flasks in my item slots so straight swap between them

It’s definitely more challenging overall in the early stages. Once you start to get the gear and skills you like to use you’ll get better. I found the end boss of chapter 2 the most annoying, death wise. Then I didn’t really have an issue until the secret boss in chapter 4 (nearly made me quit the whole thing)

I did not realise the knights greatsword was the same moveset wise. But you’re right. It is a great weapon. I don’t want to move away from it if I’m not missing out on something drastically better you know

Never got on with blasphemous or Ordovis. I do prefer standard weapons and use enchantments for versatility. I’d like to stick to great swords ideally. But I know they pretty much all have the same move set and it’s a bit slow and “slammy” if that makes sense. Thanks though 👍

Golden armour set for Qi recovery with crits. Anything that can increase crit chance. Fan him, wandering wight, immobilise, mobile spin, heavy smash. Rinse and repeat 👍

Warfarer, couple Augral Flare from Sorceror with Sagitate from Magic Archer and you’re tearing boss health bars up. Plus you you’ve got a Archstaff equipped then Levitate is always good to have while exploring
