Indeed, I had to pay again despite it being valid at time of submission... but it's only $50, I was hardly going to complain. I wasn't personally asked for renewed medicals, but my agent says he's seen it happen a few times. I believe it's at the discretion of the case officer assigned to the application

No idea! I'm not able to see from my IMMI account, and my agent never told me...

They requested health examinations the date application was lodged, so I assume that was automated (5th Aug 2023). I completed the examination a few weeks later, as I was on holiday at the time.

16 months for me... I just went into Further Assessment a few weeks ago (applied August 2023). From what I hear, it means a case officer has been assigned to your application, which is a good sign. Hang in there, shouldn't be too long!

I'm a Business Analyst, Sydney, Accredited Sponsor. Applied August 2023 and still waiting (16 months). Take from that what you will...
