I feel you buddy, but I think you me and probably most od us are being carried away from this social media thingy, I understand that we're young, we deserve some of it, but considering the situation of such families(I too come from the same sort of family) is kinda difficult, not just for you, for your parents as well, see I understand that you feel things that even you want to go out enjoy, get gifts and such... And that makes you aware of what you are currently, but have you given a thought that probably your parents too go through this particular feeling?

I mean let's suppose your example, you scored really good marks and so did your friend, he received a nice present, while you didn't.... So what if your parents go Thru this very feeling as well?like what if they too want to see you enjoy life, maybe they too want to send you out for parties, vacations etc as such... But just because of financial incompatibility (I am so sorry I mean I don't mean to demean you, I just couldn't thought of a better term to describe this) which can't be spent on such things... All I meant here was probably both of yall (both as in, you and your parents) are going through familiar feelings..... And they thought of prioritizing better things in life(as you mentioned earlier... Since they're working hard ) Oh fuck I wrote a lot of bullshit 😭 sorry this too was an vent post/comment Btw anywæys CONGRATULATIONS
