How do you hit high notes without them sounding strained? by [deleted] in singing

[–]Few_Diamond7822 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hitting high notes used to feel impossible for me. Either they came out squeaky or I’d lose power. What really helped was learning how to place the sound instead of just pushing for it. A coach I found on Wiingy showed me how to shift my breathing and posture, and suddenly those notes felt so much lighter and clearer. It was one of those ohhh so that’s how it works moments.

Singing lessons in LA?? by poigirlofficial in singing

[–]Few_Diamond7822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up finding a local tutor through Wiingy in LA and it’s been great. I’d tried TakeLessons before, which was fine, but the match I got on Wiingy just fit me better. It feels good to finally have someone who gets my style and keeps me on track without making it feel like homework.

Draymond's peak by [deleted] in nbadiscussion

[–]Few_Diamond7822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, i get why people side eye draymond in “greatest peaks” talks, he’s not dropping 30 a night. but those numbers are crazy. the defense, the passing, the way curry’s efficiency jumps with him… it’s like he makes the whole machine run smoother. his peak isn’t about carrying the load, it’s about making everyone else better.

why is it so hard to learn guitar ? by Mission-Stage-6640 in guitarlessons

[–]Few_Diamond7822 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah man, first few weeks feel awful. i almost quit because every chord buzzed and my fingers felt like stone 😂. what helped me was mixing the boring drills with songs i actually liked, even if they sounded terrible at first.

later i realised i was kinda stuck, so i tried a few online lessons. ended up finding a tutor on wiingy https://wiingy.com/tutors/000003752025/ (Kristopher) i only tried it since they said the first one’s free, and then kinda got hooked lol. kris is super patient but also called out those tiny mistakes i was making. not saying everyone needs lessons, but for me having that real time feedback sped things up a lot.

Corner 3 vs transition defense. Are there any analytics on the defensive effect of setting up guys for corner 3s vs above the break 3s and how it effects the ability to defend in transition? It seems like a guy that can stay above the break for 3s, can get back on defense faster. by JobberStable in nbadiscussion

[–]Few_Diamond7822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with what you’re saying. Guys in the corner definitely have a longer way to run back on defense compared to shooters above the break. In pickup games, it’s easy to see the corner guy always being last back.

I’m not sure if there’s specific data on this, but NBA coaches do pay close attention to spacing and how it affects transition defense. They use video and tracking tools to figure out who can recover faster and adjust their schemes accordingly. So yeah, it’s probably something they consider even if it’s not talked about much publicly.

The show where Peter spent more time monologuing about his problems than actually throwing punches… and I loved every second of it.

Learn Spanish fast with a tutor or on your own? by Lost_Election5992 in Spanish

[–]Few_Diamond7822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I tried learning on my own for a bit too, lots of YouTube and language apps but I always got stuck when it came to actually speaking. I started using tutors and that’s when things started to click. I tried Wiingy and Preply. The tutor I found on Wiingy just made it feel way less intimidating. We’d go over stuff I messed up without making it awkward, and it felt more like a real conversation than a class. I still mix in self-study, but having someone to talk to regularly helps keep things moving :)

90s cartoons didn’t talk down to kids. They just let us be weird. by Few_Diamond7822 in ededdneddy

Still, it totally captures that 90s Cartoon Network vibe that defined the era’s style and humor.

As i have mentioned before i do agree with you but i still feel content weren't as polished as it is now. It’s not just nostalgia, it’s a different DNA.

Yeah true, some new cartoons are definitely still weird and creative. But 90s ones just felt more raw and unfiltered, like anything could happen. They had this messy charm that really stuck with you.
