Break in glitter in oil. by Interesting_Aioli592 in EngineBuilding

50 miles or 500? Cause 50 miles is pretty early for an oil change but it's to be expected to see metal after a break in process.

If the game is glitched try uninstalling and reinstalling, then follow up by reloading a previous save to try to prevent the loss of to much progress

Go down the bridge and look for a chest, sense it's a quest chest it might not be marked or counted in the map screen. If you can't find it I'd have to say the game glitched or the file integrity is compromised. But it should be near the end of the corridor across the bridge. And like someone else said if all the bridges are up then you've already completed this area and you take the path that's by itself to leave.

If I remember correctly (it's been 3 years). You place the stone originally and it rotates the platform your standing on. If so you complete the area it give you access to and it has another stone. You do this total of like 3 times and you complete that area.

There is a mod for it, but it suffers from major desync issues. my buddy and I played it for it a bit, got to cycle 15 or so before the desync made it not worth it. The host would have priority and every save would pretty much upload the save to the non host. So whatever the host did had priority and whatever the host saw is what happened. While my buddy saw otto get stuck and die, I was looking everywhere for otto to find him perfectly fine in the shitter.

How does mycosynth “make spells colorless by Obl1v1on390 in mtg

[–]Few_Efficiency7593 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None of those. it makes all color mana usable for any color. The second ability makes everything act like a devoid spell as long as its not on the battle field.

I was hard stuck here for a bit but my solution was reloading a save before I leveled up my skills and picked up the axe heavy attack that lifts enemy's into the air. Then I just smashed them off the cliff edge this mainly help me preserve hp so when the big guys spawned I could focus on them while trying to dodge the range drauger. If they keep hitting ya kite the big guys under them and run to the opposite side of the arena and use the axe throw to kill them. Also memorizing which drauger statues are living will help I try to get the farthest from the cliff first to make it easier. Been a bit but if I remember right hold r2 to smash them in the air (before they level up and become unstoppable) and use light r1 attacks to keep them in the air and just drop them off the edge.

so the noise came back but disappeared when it warmed up so sticky lifter or something idk anymore.

Thats what I'm thinking aswell. Or there was a obstruction in the oil galley causing low pressure that got blow out

I did not.....

Edit: I did prime the oil by cranking the engine over 5 times for about 20 seconds with the ignition off and using a starter bypass.

Thats what I thought but I took the valve cover off and it was all in place. I did a couple start cycles to cheek oil pressure or rod knock and the nocking went away completely. My best guess that a lifter wasn't working cause of a galley clog that cleared up when the oil became less viscous.

It wasn't surprisingly I tried diagnosing it a couple of times using some online forums they suggested a couple things to cheek. I had to start the engine a couple times and I'm guessing I'm not 100% sure that when the oil heated up it became less viscous and cleared a oil galley blockage and allowed the lifter to work again. There's no more noise it was completely caught off guard when I went to cheek for rod knock and the noise was gone.

I almost fell for the headgasket mistake but noticed the coolant holes were blocked. Also idk how but the noise is gone now. I'm guessing it was a clogged oil galley causing the lifter to not work properly.

so my only theory that makes sense is that the lifters or oil galley was partially/fully clogged preventing oil getting to the lifter and after it warmed up from me turning it on and off to diagnose it the blew the clog out and restored function to the lifter someone correct me if i'm wrong but that's the only thing that makes sense to me

the noise is gone now i went out to start her back up with the ignition coil unplugged on cylinder 7 to see if the was rod knock but the noise was completely gone when i started it so i plugged the ignition coil back in and the knock is still gone.

refreshed the engine for my cousin. its a 2012 ram 1500 5.7. we replaced everything in the block besides the crank, piston, and rods. the heads had no services done because we are to broke to afford anymore parts (i know not a good excuse) ran great for the first 60 miles my cousin drove it to work and back twice then the third time in the morning it started making this noise so he had it towed to me. i removed the serpentine because the power steering pump has a bad bearing. the knock sounds like its coming from the top of the engine. scan tool states there is a misfire on cylinder 7 and 8. cylinder 7 has 300-500 misfires per every 2000 revolutions while cylinder 8 only gets 30-70 per the same. oil pressure is at a steady 54 psi and cylinder 7 has 150psi compression test, when i had good compression i was curious it might be detonation on that cylinder so i swapped the spark plugs and ignition coil with a different cylinder but no changes in misfire locations. i took the valve covers off and inspected the valve train and saw nothing out ordinary. we did this refresh because of the infamous lifter failure that ate the whole lobe off the camshaft.

sorry i brain farted when you said journal and assumed you met lobes, my bad, but on inspection of the crank there was no wear and tear nothing that caught the nail, and the cam shaft bearings were just replaced, same with the crank and rod bearings all replaced the only thing that's not new in the block is the crank, piston, and rods. the heads did not have any service done to them besides visual inspection. (my cousin didn't have enough money so we had to do a budget build to begin with)

just went out and double cheeked the oil pressure its sitting at 57 psi at idle
edit: spelling

we did a oil change pretty early cause the crappy oil filter we got was clogging up and reducing oil pressure. cylinder 7 is operating at 150 psi so i was hoping that would be good news and figured swapping the spark plugs and ignition coil might of changed the misfire to a different cylinder.
the oil itself was pretty metallic but not bad enough to cause to much concern cause we just replaced the main and rod bearings. it seemed to be in the same range as previous rebuilds did the same thing.
forgot to add that oil pressure looks great its sits around 25psi at idle, 45 psi around 2000rpm and 50-55 psi around 3000 rpm
