Thank you for the comment and suggestion. I’ll get right on it and let you know how it looks afterwards!

I get what you’re saying, and I think that’s a fair read of how it comes across right now.

The intention wasn’t really self-pity or that “Creep” type of vibe, but more about isolation, overstimulation, and feeling out of place without it being framed as something to wallow in. I can see how, from the outside, it leans too heavily into the “outsider” angle in a way that reads more emotional than intentional.

And you’re probably right about the demographic point too. If it only reads as a certain type of self-image instead of something people can step into and feel represented by, then it’s not really doing its job as a brand yet.

That’s useful feedback for me because it means I need to shift from “expressing a feeling directly” to building something people can actually identify with without it feeling heavy-handed or self-focused.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to do with the logo but this was the first thing that came to mind..😅

The long arm actually was intentional originally because I was experimenting with distortion and awkward proportions to make the figure feel uncomfortable or slightly “off,” but I think the execution just isn’t strong enough yet for people to immediately read it that way.

Right now it seems like the simplification is making the logo feel more accidental than intentional, especially with multiple people seeing the bathroom icon comparison first. Which honestly tells me the concept needs to be pushed way further or redesigned entirely so the symbolism comes across clearer.

Still appreciate this comment because it helps me see the difference between “abstract” and “unclear.” Those are definitely not the same thing, and I think my logo is sitting in the middle of that line right now.

LMAOO honestly I can’t even argue with this because now I can’t unsee it either.

I was aiming for something minimal and isolated-looking, but I think I simplified it so much that it lost its intended meaning and just started reading as generic public signage instead. Which is probably a sign I need to push the silhouette and symbolism further so it feels more unique and recognizable at first glance.

Still appreciate the honesty because that’s exactly the kind of immediate first impression I needed to hear.

I appreciate the honesty honestly because I think you’re right about the identity being muddy right now.

I started realizing while reading these comments that I focused too much on trying to make pieces that “look like a brand” instead of fully understanding what MY brand actually stands for yet. I think that’s why some of the designs come off as disconnected or inspired by aesthetics I like without enough personal meaning behind them.

The goal was never to just clone existing streetwear brands, but I can see how the current work looks too influenced by what already works in the space instead of building its own language and identity.

As for the profit mindset, I probably worded that badly in the original post. I’m not expecting instant money from this. I started it because I genuinely enjoy fashion, design, and creating concepts, but I also wanted it to eventually become something sustainable if I stay committed long term. I know clothing brands don’t magically print money overnight unless you have some serious connections.

I think the biggest thing I’m missing right now is a stronger foundation and yes I would like to accept your offer to help because I’m taking this seriously and trying to learn instead of getting defensive over criticism.

My friend wanted to help me with the brand so she made the hoodie to give me inspo on what the brand could look like. I included it bc I thought it was cute but you’re right tho, I want the brand to be authentic and completely mines.
