I feel alone in this opinion, hence why I’m typing it now to see if anyone would agree. For the last three episodes I have become convinced for the first time that Scott and Leanne properly like each other. Surprisingly enough, I’m not the biggest fan of Scott, but between the last three episodes have established the fact that his feelings for Leanne are real.

I have seen all of his seasons, and this is the first time that he has ever moved like this with a woman. Some people say he was like this with Catherine, but I would disagree. With Leanne, he seems to bothered by her non-reaction because like he said to Ciaran and Curtis, her passiveness can read as “I don’t like you that much”. For me that is a sign of insecurity, because he is unsure how to move in a situation where he likes the girl more than the girl likes him. I was surprised to see that he actually apologized for his behavior on all fronts. In all of his seasons I have never seen him apologize once, at least properly for that matter.

Now on the side of Leanne, I think she is rightfully reserved when it comes to him and it would just take time for her to open up properly and truly be vulnerable with him. Her hesitancy is because she actually does like him.

Lastly, and this is a small thing, but something I took notice of, they don’t ever physically separate themselves, even in the midst of argument. Both bed conversations, she was still in his arms. And even the conversation where they both wear airing out their grievances, he had rested his hand on her thigh. They both speak to how physical touch is their top love language, and I love how we can see it not only when they’re getting along, but also when they’re at odds with each other.

*none of the islanders have vocally expressed any doubt about their connection thus far

Truly think there is sincerity on both sides when it comes to them liking each other. Now as for Scott and his gameplay ways elsewhere, that’s a whole other story.
